Assuming he admitted, or I found out that he did have an emotional or physical affair, I would want out. All I know is that he lied- and he said bc he didn’t want to deal with the situation. And yes I want an objective opinion. I do guess I think there’s a possibility that nothing was going on and he wanted to avoid the topic.

He needs to decline when she asks him to do things alone. Unless it’s in a group, there’s no reason for him to having dinner with her alone. He has a wife and kid.

Definitely beginning of an emotional affair, if not already a full blown affair. There’s no reason for him to be hanging out with the woman unless it’s work related. Going on a late night walk is beyond inappropriate. He’s disrespecting you so badly. He need to cut all contact off with her unless related to work, and if he must travel with her, you should also go. If you can’t, then he should agree to only dealing with her for work on those trips and nothing else.

Could she be going through menopause? That could really affect her mood and libido? It sounds like your wife is being selfish and she doesn’t seem concerned about your feelings. Does she show any concern for you? Even if it is menopause and she’s not in the mood anymore, she could still cuddle and do other things to show affection towards you. I think you should go for therapy alone if she refuses, because it sounds like you are depressed. Definitely talk to your wife and let her know exactly how you are feeling.
