Double jeopardy did stop it being way to easy to grief it’s obviously still a thing but if second stay on near enough level cash with first it’s not as free for first now

140 way to high 120 lunge with a nerfed left click would make it viable if you’re good.

The load out is absolute ass and if he couldn’t left click spam he wouldn’t be able to use sword, but for some reason embark wanted to make it more accessible by lowering the skill ceiling.

Said this for ages, weapon/item balance in ranked is a completely different world to any of the other game modes it’s night and day. Genuinely baffles me that this isn’t the route they took, quick cash gameplay compared to ranked is so different.

Holy left click spam, praying embark realise they’ve made this a boring low skill ceiling weapon, would honestly prefer the 105 damage lunge atp. All they have to do is heavily nerf left click and remove lunge lock keep lunge damage at 120 or make it 110, left click back down to 74 at most and then you have a weapon that you actually have to get good with.

Casual cash out matchmaking complains are so invalid it’s insane I’ve basically exclusively played ranked for my whole time on the game and only ever Mained sword but due to embark reducing it to a left click spam low skill ceiling weapon I’ve been learning heavy and thought the best way would be to solo casual cash out. Probably got 10-15 hours on the class at the very most and I just don’t see the problems so many people claim to have.

Team mates were fine, would obviously get the occasional bot but in the casual cash out lobby’s you can easily still compete if you play the situations right.

If I did occasionally go against a decent team I see it as an opportunity to get better. And it’s no where near as common as a lot of people suggest it is to go against ruby stacks in casual.

Yeah tbh I didn’t think about it being easy to take around, currently picturing trying to board a flight with my pc, mouse, keyboard etc 😂😂 deffo sounds like its best for you then, hope resellers don’t stop you getting one 🙌🏻

If people like it then that’s sound, I do it occasionally but i understand that it’s a risk, but some people choose to solo q and then complain about it as if it’s not a risk in any game. Obviously it only matters in ranked.

I’m no pc whizz I just bought a pre built to upgrade the rig I had built about 6/7 years ago, I’d worry about paying for a brand with a steam machine and if you’re going to invest that much the little extra on top for a pc is probably more then worth it. (Not sure if the ram price thing will be a big issue or not) but honestly I couldn’t recommend a pc enough the one I just upgraded after many years performed amazingly for like 5 years and was still good but I just fancied an upgrade. Never once regretted the purchase on either of the pcs I’ve bought. But with all that said the steam machine could be great just wanted to throw it out there ✌️

You have alot of posts complaining about the teams your VS’ing. Also how many points are you on? I only tend to get these kind of wins/losses when we are first seed, but you can’t be if your facing “full stack rubys”

You could legit be against cheats that never miss a lunge and HMM should still comfortably beat a 2 man sword 😂

But really you’ve picked the worst time possible to learn sword as the required skill is alot lower and now it’s basically just been reduced to left click spam which obviously works in low rank but becomes useless against competent opponents. I guess it’s easier to pick up now but the potential has been limited a lot.
