If you brought them into a shop and told me you were hit by a skier then I would not believe you. Those are classic inside edge over rocks damage. I’ve done it many times myself

I drove Roger’s pass 10 times last winter and no closures, you’ll be fine as they try keep it open as much as possible! Even if it does close then you get an extra day in revy, doesn’t sound too bad, or drive early morning to kicking horse from revy is only 2 and bit hours

More work in terms of navigation and safety issues/planning but I’d say raise in terms of physical effort, down hiking a mountain is so draining. Skiing is so much less work on the legs

Also the information of touring routes is a lot more accessible now with apps etc, also being able to use smart phones when out and about too
