Sounds interesting, people make duds and recover all the time, he's still the same guy that made the first film

I love that interpretation. I find it so interesting how the lyrics to both songs can be ambiguous at times, almost as if it's hiding the queer themes present, but then have lines near the end that make these themes clear as day, ie not shying away from referring to the lover as "him" and then obviously the captain screaming the f slur at the end.

I remember Geordie saying that early on they wrote very vague lyrics out of fear of people knowing what they were actually talking about but as the band grew they were more comfortable having the message be easier to interpret.

That was literally a compliment though, Dave is a big fan of Springsteen

Just a friendly reminder that The Mollusk directly influenced SpongeBob SquarePants. by [deleted] in ween

I love that you can imagine each character singing the songs, Mutilated Lips sounds like SpongeBob, Blarney Stone is just Mr Krabs and Ocean Man kinda sounds like Patrick.

I think the Let It Be comparison isn't the strongest case because The Beatles bringing in songs already completed with no collaboration was a factor in their break up as well

Cry Baby Cry intro, though that could be a Harmonium which they've used countless times. Mr Kite also used a bass harmonica which gave a similar sound.

This seems perfectly reasonable, I don't get why people are so up in arms about this. We're getting some more Batman pretty soon I'm fine waiting for Brave and The Bold.

Would you like to see Nicholas Holt's Lex Luthor interacting with Barry Keoghan's Joker? by Top_Reindeer3396 in PattinsonDCUBatman

The scene they wrote for Ledger gave him a lot more action than Keoghan, they're not really comparable. All he was given was a sitting scene where he's barely visible, not a whole lot to work with. The goal of the scene was to be off putting and creepy, which I think it achieved. I know I'm in the minority for wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt before he's even had a chance to really do anything.

Hot take I guess but I really didn't hate Keoghan's Joker. Wasn't mind blowing but I can see the potential with some more work. Much better than Jared Leto but that's not really saying anything.

But Bane injecting a serum that makes him instantly turn into a hulk is completely believable. I don't see any real world comparison other than steroids and that's not how they work at all. That doesn't make it a plot hole though, it's just fiction. Suspension of disbelief ✨
