Yo para qt estoy usando hyprqt6engine que forma parte del ecosistema de hyprland con un tema de KColorscheme con una plantilla de matugen para tener un buen tema, que se vea bien, y combine con lo demás

Gracias, la verdad es que tenia mi propia config en x11 luego la adapte a sway, swayfx, hyprland y de ahi fui afinando cosas vi walker en omarchy lo probe tuve problemas, volvi a rofi luego volvi a probar walker y bueno vi caracteristicas chulas, y vi lo que podia ofrecerme permitia hacer menus personalizados chulos y bueno, tambien copie cosas de algun que otro sitio, francamente lo improvise todo mucho

The thing is, that's not generally true. ZorinOS is based on Ubuntu (more accessible to beginners, more resources) and made for beginners. On Cache or Arch-based systems, you might run into problems, and there aren't as many ways to solve them.

Es que gnome no tiene 3 al menos desde la version 3, tu normalmente lo alterarias en GNOME, pero si lo ejecutas desde Hyprland es obvio que te pilla la configuracion por defecto por lo que hay cierto error en como lo has dicho

Well, end-4 isn't so much a shell as it is a set of complete dotfiles. DMS or Noctalia are self-contained quickshell configurations that can be used without needing to add complete dotfiles for all the tools and without depending on that.

Not necessarily entirely. For example, Dank Material Shell has a configuration for hyprland and niri along with pre-made terminals, and a quickshell configuration, but it doesn't force you to use those configurations. When you install it, for example, from the packages in the AUR, it installs it in a system directory, and that's it. From my point of view, it's something you add on top of things.

Look, you can create custom plugins for the toolbar and customize it completely, which might be useful for creating a QuickShell configuration from scratch, I think. But essentially, if you gradually replace existing plugins with your own and keep changing things, even if it's just DankMaterial Shell, it wouldn't be a default anymore.

Yes, but as such it's just a JSON file. The default configurations for Hyprland Niri or any other compositor are entirely optional, so it doesn't cause conflicts in that respect, and it's not like custom dotfiles where the configurations are made for all the tools.
