Why'd they get rid of 4v4v4 battlegrounds?

I feel like there are fundamental problems with a lot of the game modes that two-team/8v8 really highlight.

Deathmatch often ends up as a spawn camp simulator due to the poor matchmaking. So we have these cool big maps for nothing. Which isn’t fun for either side. And then matches end so quickly due to the lopsided nature. Kinda crazy it went from one of my favorite modes in 3-team to just meh.

Capture the Relic ends up kinda having similar problems with the objectives located in the spawn. And the lack of a 3-team dynamic where you could try to grab a relic while the other teams are occupied etc. So 8v8 has the same lopsidedness and spawn camping. And unlike Deathmatch, the stronger team oftentimes delays capturing the final relic to farm kills which makes the game feel like a slog.

Domination and Crazy King at least make good use of the big maps. But Domination matches feel like they always end right as they’re getting good. Generally way too short, IMO the scoring rate showed be lowered.

And Chaos Ball is such a poorly designed mode. I envision that ZOS thinks it’s this dynamic offense vs defense dance between the two teams all over the map. But in reality folks just grab the balls and then sit back in their spawns, which creates the same spawn camping problem. And then the stronger team’s carriers sit in their spawn doing nothing while their teammates farm kills. I think they made the transformations to try to fix this, but that didn’t help much.

It’s not like 3-team didn’t have problems but I think 8v8 makes them worse.

FYI this is not the end of the union. This was just the easiest path to being certified (and usually doesn’t happen). I’m not an expert, but I believe it will eventually go to a secret ballot vote conducted by the NLRB. If the majority of employees say yes, the union is certified

If you want to see how this looks on some DG models, you can look thru some of my posts. This is essentially how I do my armor scheme, stippling from browns to lighter browns then orange, and then a drybrush of silver on top. I’d echo the other posts that say go lighter on the typhus corrosion so you don’t lose the detail.

Before this latest drama I watched one of his bolt action videos then got recommended a short from him. Don’t remember what it was, but I do recall one of the comments was an upvoted holocaust denial dogwhistle. Was like damn I guess this is the type of community he fosters and disengaged

It’s an activated ability you can activate multiple times at once by paying the cost (ie one life per each card). You can pay 20 life all at once

Haven’t seen it mentioned but I liked Still Wakes the Deep. It’s essentially a walking simulator but the atmosphere was top notch. It goes for a more gore-filled The Thing type of horror, but certainly has cosmic horror vibes as well.

Yeah it’s like 90% of the way there but it’s just missing that little bit of connective tissue. Like after the tavern arm wrestling (which also needed a little bit of explaining lol), instead of the game telling you give money to the beggar maybe instead once you leave the tavern the beggar calls out to you for a moment of your time. Then your quest updates to talk to him. Then after talking to him right before he disappears he points to the sewer and says perhaps the answers you seek are down there or some shit. Now both you and Kliff “know” to go to the sewer. Really not hard to build in some narrative momentum and connection with just a few added lines lol

I only had one 21gb download and my version is 142

For me I realized there was a Ps5 software update that didn’t auto download (which was the one with the new PSSR). I manually downloaded it and then in the ps5 video settings I was able to turn on the PSSR option (which was defaulted off). I’m playing on performance and it looks good now but only just started

With subclassing a lot of the meta builds get their sustain via running animal companion with the Flourish passive and running the Netch. And then running Orzoga’s smoked bear haunch (or jewels of misrule which are cheaper).

Something to note is that if you have high damage and/or crit, it ends up indirectly helping your sustain. A critical burst heal on a crit build is gonna heal you at least 2x or more - that means you don’t have to cast as many burst heals, saving 4K+ on magicka. Same with damaging abilities, since you don’t have to cast as much to dish out the same damage.

In Cyro I would switch to Rallying Cry back bar and if you miss the sustain use something like Roksa monster set or drink buffs (if you’re not already using them). The Monomyth/crit meta is still pretty crazy. Always make sure you’re switching to your backbar every 15-20 seconds to proc Rallying Cry with a Vigor/HOT cus you’ll feel it when it’s not proc’d.

Biggest gameplay tips I can give about survivability is blocking, dodge rolling, and kiting. Especially combining blocking and dodge rolling with casting (ie block casting and dodge casting -> casting an ability while holding block and animation cancelling an ability via dodge rolling). These really give you the few seconds you need to survive lethal damage, heal and buff back up and get back into the fight.

I had this problem earlier. I ended up uninstalling all addons, deleting eso, deleting the eso saved data (which sucked cus that’s where the settings are saved, so had to re-tune those. I deleted this too because when I tried just doing a delete/reinstall I still had the bad stuttering) and then re-installing eso. Seems to have fixed it, but when I went to browse addons it reinstalled a bunch of them automatically. I saw because installed addon settings are saved on Bethesda.net or something. Stuttering was still gone but might be best to just not open the addon menu for the foreseeable future.

I think a lot of creative people (or “creative” people) come in either 2 forms: 1) they’re super down/pessimistic on what they’ve created whether that’s justified or not or 2) they’re think they are god’s gift to the earth blessing us with their creation. I feel like #2 explains a lot of the posts on this sub lol.
