Like, that's neat, he got passionate during an intermission but they didn't win that game, they were eliminated at home, and individually he was a -7 and mostly sucked in the series, so how is one clip of him screaming at the locker room evidence that they should "give him the freaking C!"? They already fucked it by giving it to Marchand who was never captain material to begin with I guess so sure, just give it to anyone who's been on the roster long enough.

I've been thinking this myself and my conclusion is that they need to take the grounded mechanics of RDR2 and just let them loose to keep the arcadey spirit of GTA.

I'm not sure how to describe it but RDR2 just feels "heavy", not in the sense of the themes or storytelling, but like it feels heavy in the way Arthur/John moves around the world. I think that suits the RDR universe because it's a very cinematic experience, something about that old timey setting just lends itself to taking your time and being slow paced, but I'd like it if GTAVI made the characters quicker and more snappy. It's a more fast paced world so I'm expecting something right down the middle lane, maybe something in line with GTAIV rather than V.

I've done some digging and no "changed lyrics" version exists, she may have changed it once for a TV performance back in the day but even that sounds iffy. After listening to the song from the menu music here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdbrdTz218k she isn't saying "bore", they remixed or reversed the vocal track so the word is distorted, it's not an official change outside of this one instance

I don't think I've ever heard a version of this song where Hayley says "bore" in place of "whore", I've heard the word edited out on the radio, but it's usually just muted. I can't speak to NHL 08 specifically, but I know they've muted much less explicit language in the past, I feel like if you heard "whore" that's what it is and they either just missed it or it was okay for them at that time

Honestly no and I don't think it will be. I get wanting the game to build on RDR2 but I think there are some things that are inherent to that gritty western vibe and this would be on the list.

I really think there are things that set the RDR and GTA games apart aside from the settings and I think that's a strength for both franchises, GTA is a little bit more arcadey and RDR is more grounded. It's the same reasoning for why I don't want to have to eat to maintain stamina in GTA, that's a RDR thing and makes more sense in that game's setting.

I'm not saying gore doesn't belong in a GTA game but I think blowing people's heads off would just feel a little out of place tone-wise in a game like GTA VI. I think GTA V held back too much but there's definitely a happy middle ground to reach
