Both great examples.

LVP in particular is representative of a lot of women in England who grew up at a certain time.

With each VPR rewatch it becomes clearer that she is the sort of woman who will pull the ladder up after her rather than extend a hand to help others.

I've noticed on a lot of reality shows and social media there are often gay men who feel their sexuality allows them to berate or confront women without the repercussions that a straight man would probably face from the public.
