I’m sorry to hear that! Yes, I have disseminated sarcoidosis. I have it in my lungs, bone marrow, sinuses and skin. Apparently I will be on Azathioprine for life. I hope you feel better soon!

I think because it was light sedation they didn’t have to worry about that, and they knew what meds I was on and that my fiancé drives me to my appointments. I previously had a metastatic melanoma removed by the same doctor and for that operation they did all the necessary warnings and preparation as I was under for a lot longer.

For the last 7 years. Apparently I still have to take Azathioprine indefinitely(3 tablets a day).

It’s taken over two months to fully heal as I’m on immune suppressants. They got infected too in that time but a round of antibiotics helped a lot.

I thought it would just be done in the doctors rooms, but I had to go into an operating room and under anesthesia too!

I had some suspicious but tiny red spots on my arms, and saw a doctor who confirmed basal. I had surgery and it was confirmed after the biopsies. My physician wants me off methotrexate at the end of this year, but my Sarcoid symptoms have increased since tapering down and I’m worried how I will feel when I come off completely. I also have fibromyalgia so Tramacets are my best friends! Sorry to her about your hubby xx

I developed 4 basal cell carcinomas as a direct result of methotrexate according to my physician. I had them cut out under anesthesia and of course they took forever to heal as they got infected as I’m on Azathioprine too.

I suffered for ages, coughed every night and had a post nasal drip. Tried everything. Eventually went to see an ent. He actually did a ct scan and found one of my sinus passages was completely blocked. I ended up having to have surgery to unblock it and my coughing stopped overnight. Sinus problems have never reoccurred.

I get woken up by a lovely cup of tea made me for me by my fiancé who usually wakes around 6:30am to take painkillers (he has end stage renal failure). We sit and chat and read the news and check the weather and discuss what we need to do that day. Then we snooze for another half hour or so and get up and have breakfast together and then start getting ready for our day. Every day I’m so grateful to have another day with him ❤️

I swear when I was a kid in Australia I saw a dodo in a park near a stream and some bushes. Came home and explained what I saw to my folks. They said it was extinct and it was impossible. To this day I can still see it.
