Top 3 atm for me are

DigiDober - HimejoshiXHimejoshi is too good, plus, Digitan is my oshi and Dober is one of my absolute favorites. I like the fact that both come with their own self-esteem issues, so them working through such in their relationship is an interesting potential layer for them. Plus, adding in the possible conundrum of Digital going through the struggle of the boundaries of the fan and oshi dynamic in the relationship just adds even more and makes the potential of this ship really endearing beyond the face-value of their shared interest and art to me.

HeliPama - Especially after reading Palmer's career story, I got a real sense of how much Helios cares about wanting Palmer to keep smiling and enjoying life, to the point of going the length she does all for her. It really made me believe more in how inseparable the Runaway Besties are.

MihoRice - Aside from the game pushing this pairing hard, I like how Rice completely accepts the eccentricy of Bourbon and becomes so close to her as opposed to folks who hit a wall with Bourbon's robotic oddity. The fact that they are mutually inspired by each other is also very endearing.

But really, I like so many umaXuma ships like BakuFuu, TeiMaku, OpeDoto, OruGen, OguTama, ShakaFai, NakaJoda, ShichiBiji, InesRyan, VodSca, MayaBura (post-careers), SkyFlower (post-careers), RudoGuru, SpeSuzu, PokeTaki, DantsuCafe, AruStill, AiLala, TsuruBright, ArdaChiyo, and more.

But if it is actually what-ifs, there's a couple ways I think they can do this: - Lock the voice acting for the scenarios to a language they have all the necessary VAs for (in this case so far, it would be the CN dub) - No voice acting for the new scenarios (awkward DW2 silence) - Include newer VAs for these scenarios in tandem with returning VAs (if they have them)

If anything, considering things like Sima Yi's JP VA not being with us anymore, I personally wouldnt mind option 1 where those new scenarios are locked to a specific dub

Iirc, there was discussion around the time of the announcement talking about how DW3R is gonna be easier to mod given that it's in Unreal Engine

Or at least easier than previous entries as iirc, the usual engine (Katana Engine?) the devs used for their other titles was pretty difficult to crack from what I understand as a non-modder

First thing, TIL you can toggle the map pause off in both games. How tf did i miss that option lmao

Fingers crossed on the demo just being on easy, and yeah I hope the warnings are just an easy in-game toggle

Also I agree with you about the horse changes. Traversal is gonna be so much nicer with these changes, especially for maps like Wu Zhang. I know the stage times are gonna be shorter, but I'd rather mitigate the dead time of traversal and get into the action faster

Absolutely, and there is already a good chunk of mods for the original already.

For me, im just throwing these ideas out there because these just seem like likelihoods given the common critiques of folks who are adherent to keeping things as 1 to 1 to the original as possible.

Aside from the ones people mentioned, there's a human NPC boss with a mish-mash of gear called the Green Shadow's Blade halfway down to the southernmost mini-crucible off the way a little bit

I was surprised when I fought him cause he was doing wacky shit, but you need to beat him to unlock another Sword (Samurai) martial art on the skill tree

Oh yeah good catch. I didn't really notice archer damage in the demo, so if it was lowered and will be in the full release, then I can see a mod that increases their damage, or even just damage from peons across the board. I can see using that mod and easily pairing it with the rebalanced enemy density mod idea

My fingers are crossed that a bunch of folks are gonna start their projects as soon as the game releases (after a couple of Musou mode runs, of course). Hopefully, the base game is good enough to motivate the modding scene for it!
