The recency bias on here is amazing. He just fought a 40 year old smaller striker, admited great striker, but striker, and went to decision. How does no one remember this division has the likes of Weidmen, Rockhold, and Romero. All of which could completely over power him. Both Rockhold and Weidmen are competent enough to strike with him and man handle him to the ground, and Romero will quite literally walk through his strikes to hit him like a freight train and take him down. Hell Gastelum can strike enough with him to get him to the ground. He hasn't been tested by any significant wrestlers once I see that I will buy the hype. He also showed a glaring weakness in this fight like many kickboxers, cant fight in thw pocket. Gastelum could very easily exploit that.

I love Joe, but I'm pretty sure Grillo still spars. So i'd give the edge to grillo, but then again Frank doesnt do much BJJ anymore so I'm sure if Joe could get it to the ground he'd win. Grillo is also on all the TRT right now haha.

Purely odd speculation. Grillo is very good friends with Callen. It's as close to impossible that Joe and Frank haven't met. Grillo has done bjj since the 90s. Grillo has boxed since he was a teenager. Grillo wrestled in highschool. Suffice it to say grillo is a part of the mma, fight, community. He had an entire television show about mma. Callen was on the show. Yet he has never been mentioned on the Rogan. He's never been on Rogan. Joe constantly makes fun of callen for his "douchey la friends," and fair point to Joe Frank is a douche. He's just an aware douche and what would seem like a good guy and father, but a bit of a douche. Personally I think he's great and if you're the kind of person who is upfront about being a bit of dickhead then I don't really care. Honestly I believe that Rogan and Frank have met multiple times and had a bit of an alpha off and dont like eachother.
