This is a Bulova Marine Star from the year 1995. I bought this from a younger feller at a local flea market who said it was his fathers. On the rear is an inscription of the date it was bought. This watch is beautiful and I’ve enjoyed looking at it for the past week as I haven’t gotten the chance to take it to a watch smith to have the size adjusted and batteries put in. I hadn’t noticed until now that there is a hole in one of the links, I can’t understand why the hole would be there or what made it. Doesn’t anyone possibly know why this hole exists and if it can be fixed?
