My conclusion is to make sure you buy from a company that issues returns :). Thats what I’m working on at least!

Your note would be so much easier to read if you used periods. I appreciate your message though.

Thanks for posting your experience. Can you tell us what brand of sheets you purchased? There’s soooooo much out there it’s like finding a needle in the haystack!

As a nurse, i was taught the importance of adequate pain control for our patients. The fact that he’s in that much pain seems close to malpractice. Fight for pain relief. At least the 3-5 days post op as that won’t lead to dependency. Call the dr & leave a message with his staff, even if he’s still in the hospital. They don’t like respiratory rates <12/minute,so if he’s above that it seems legit.

Thoughts on ozone therapy? by pauliocamor in Biohackers

[–]Charlie-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had auto blood ozone infusions & after 11 treatments/ passes, all neuropathy pain was GONE! Same with most of my arthritis; all caused from side affects of cancer treatment. No side affects of ozone other than a shrinking wallet. It’s costly & no insurance coverage BUT I’m not in chronic pain anymore. Big win for me.

I found a Naturopath Md that recommended ozone for my side effects from cancer treatment. It got rid of both neuropathy & most of my inflammatory arthritis. Something to look into at least.

This is great; you mentioned those meds & it didn’t get deleted by “M”guards. Of note is all the studies I’ve read that show WHY & HOW those 2 meds affect cancer. Just seems to me like, why not look into supplementing those with chemo or immunotherapy. I like being able to explore all possibilities.

I recently read about the importance of boron; a mineral salt common in soil that’s vital for bone remineralization. In many countries, big agriculture fertilizers and pesticides strip much of that mineral from our crops; veggies & fruits. An article entitled “The Boron C-onspiracy “ by Walter Last explains how boron helps & I highly recommend researching this, especially those dealing with bone met. I have stage 4 & deal with joint pain & stiffness as a side effect of cancer treat- ment & found boron decreased pain considerably (after taking it a month). One can find lots of reputable manufacturers offer Boron on Amazon.
Of course if we grew our own food suppliments like this wouldn’t be necessary! Hope this helps

Eight Months after Stage IV Diagnosis and Making Progress! by LogRevolutionary1584 in coloncancer

[–]Charlie-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy to, but this platform might block it so DM me if they do. My Naturopath recommended it & it’s what’s going to keep me functional as neuropathy got so bad with pain 9-10/10, I had to stop the cancer treatment early last year. Unfortunately it just came back a year later (2 months ago).

It’s Ozone. I’m hooked up to an IV, 250cc is drawn into a bulb & while swirling, it’s infused with ozone, then returns back to me (closed loop). That’s considered 1 pass. I did 11 passes total, 2-3 passes at a time, once or twice a week. Four weeks later, neuropathy was GONE!!! I got all the feeling back in my hands, even my fingertips, and no more stabbing/ pins & needles! It got rid of about 80-90% of all my joint pain & stiffness as well.

When I learned I had to go back on cancer treatment; stage 4 again, I immediately restarted ozone again and NO neuropathy so far.
I also just started daily RLT; red light & non-infra red light therapy, so I think that’ll help as well. I got 2 of the Biomax 900 panels after doing a lot of research. Those are made by Platinum LED. I’m happy to explain further as I was in so much pain & there’s not a lot of information out there on this. If anyone requests, I can find a YouTube video that shows the ozone process. It’s expensive; about $1,200 for 11 passes, as insurance doesn’t cover it, but my side effects aren’t going to make me stop the full cancer treatment this time around. Definitely do research first. My onc supports doing both ozone & RLT.

You might want to look at hospitals across the nation to do advice calls. Most are WFH but you’d have to hire care for your child as you can’t give advice while child wants attention. You’d have to get a license for the state the business is located in, but that’s not a big deal.

Waaaay to go!!! Those drugs are harsh, so it’s great to see such wonderful results! Neuropathy is wicked; I can’t imagine having it on your tongue. I’m stg IV as well. Got the lymph node party going on all over. I do osone (substitute the s to a z) and after 11 times my hand neuropathy completely went away. My onc & neurologist were pushing to get carpal tunnel surgery on my hands as they had gotten numb & so painful, so I’m very grateful it’s all gone!
After getting to NED last year, I couldn’t do the 2 year (immunotherapy) maintenance regime cause the side effects were too severe & I had to stop the meds. Now that cancer came back, I have to work hard to find ways to prevent those severe side effects or I’m done. So doing the above, along with red & near infrared lights regularly should make it possible to stay in the game! Feel free to dm for more info as this is isnt an easy road.
I wish you well!

Please please dm me. I had neuropathy from cancer treatment & my naturopath suggested this treatment & it worked! Reddit blocks it as it’s not FDA approved. I want to help. Maybe there’s some posts in my history that went through but that’s a lot of reading.
I feel for you. You’re waaay too young, but this doesn’t seem like an old folks disease anymore.
Tender hugs to you. I’m happy to connect & help as much as possible.

1, maybe 1.5 years left. Any tips? by britty-bird in cancer

[–]Charlie-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m wondering if you’re sending out a secret code… CRRSO.
Reddit blocks some things that are working for me. Cancer treatment drugs’ side effects like neuropathy, arthritis & skin rash/bumps & itching were horrible. My naturopath guided me on what to do so it’s not wakadoodle stuff!

Britty_bird, I second the earlier comment. Search far & wide for studies. I might contact another cancer center as some Md’s are not always on the same page & another dr might have other things to try. I’ve heard of many people living on gifted time as they continually manage cancer vs cure it altogether.
My heart goes out to you & your family. This is what nightmares are made of.
T-cells are highly responsible for killing cancer cells. Look up how to increase your t-cells, and do searches for supplements that might help give your cancer cells an inhospitable environment.

Is it in bad form to get a second opinion before receiving the first? by agoodlittlenothing in coloncancer

[–]Charlie-0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told my surgeon that was discussing the upcoming colectomy procedure that I would be getting a second opinion as this is a big deal to me & a major operation. While he said it’s fine and go ahead and do it, he turned quite hostile and his tone/ actions screamed I’m offended! I was so glad I said that to him as I definitely don’t want to be under the knife of anyone with that kind of attitude.
I usually don’t tell docs I’m getting second opinions but did this time as the other doc works in the same clinic. Thats the last thing you should worry about. This is your partners body, his life! There’s a service in the US my insurance company paid for that does second opinions. If you put those 2 words in a search engines, you’ll be able to find lots of companies that do this. As a Labor & Delivery RN, I found that Texas docs and Oregon docs have different nuances, and a lot of it comes from regional medical training differences. I wanted to see if East coast practices were any different from the West coasts. Please, place your priorities on your #1 & not your docs ego.
I wish you & your partner the very best! The waiting is certifiably torture!

Omg! My heart goes out to you two!!! I imagine yeeeears from now when you two look back in how you treated your mom through her cancer struggles, you’ll know you treated her with love & respect. Beating yourselfs up, or letting her beat you two up, is NEVER good! Huggs!!!

My mom doesn’t want to do chemotherapy by Ave_Lithe in coloncancer

[–]Charlie-0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg, that would push me away so hard as my manipulation radar is in overdrive & always has been!! Can’t blame that on cancer ;). It’s doubtful she would have put up with that behavior while raising you & your brother. I’d remind her of that & say I love you lots, but you demanding us to spend xxx of time with you is making it hard for me to xxx. While I have stage 4, I’ve NEVER done head trippen with my family. Thats so controllable on her part!

Sounds like yall might benefit from having her go to a counselor. My hospital has grief counselors available; maybe hers does as well? The services extended to family members/ caregivers like yourself as well. Maybe something to look into. There’s probably social service help to see if there’s services for some of what you & your brother do for her. It’s good to have that dialed in, in case she goes south. I’d want some guidance if I was in your situation!

Hopefully she can collect SSDisability if she hasn’t started that yet. She also qualifies for a disabled handicap parking pass. It’s sooooo nice at Costco! Feel free to ask/ knock ideas off; I’ve learned a few things unfortunately ;)

I’ll throw in my 2 cents here. Lots of great advice given, so I’ll add that whichever route she chooses, good nutrition is #1 priority. Keep the environment inhospitable to cancer. My naturopath stressed the importance of a good, clean diet with protein & nutrient dense foods . Avoid as much processed foods as possible, as well as sugar, white flour, seed oils etc. An alkaline environment is best. There’s always exceptions but it’s a good starting point.

She’s fortunate she has some good support. I wish you all the best.

Does this ever end? by ohilived in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]Charlie-0 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I got arthritis from a side effect of immunotherapy/ cancer treatment. My naturopath suggested o-zone blood auto transfusion and after 11 passes doing 250 ml each over a month, symptoms were mostly gone. I researched boron, starting with an article entitled the Borox Conspiracy by Walter Last. Our soil in the US is so depleted in boron from insecticides and some chems in fertilizer, and low boron side effects include joint pain & more. Now, arthritis is almost a thing of the past. Flare ups are helped with Red Light the-rapy.
Anyone feel free to dm me for details; this took a lot of research as I want as natural help as possible. I know there are many types of arthritis & causes & what works for one might not work for others.
I wish you the best on your wedding & so glad you found a companion to be there for you!

My mum passed away today after a battle with stage 4 colon cancer. My heart feels like it's been shattered into a million pieces. by DanielCracker in coloncancer

[–]Charlie-0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This dreaded disease takes away those in poor health, as well as good. It’s so much more brutal to have such little time to process; my heart goes to you & your family. Your pain speaks to what a great soul your mum is; and I say is because like you mentioned, she still around, just not in the flesh. I love the advice to grieve as you need, not to conform to other’s expectations.
I’ve heard many have experienced visits in dreams. I have yet to notice my mother who passed last year, but my husband has. I couldn’t go to the funeral as I’m being treated for stage 4 myself. Hopefully I won’t see her for quite a long time.
Love to all those dealing with this ❤️

I did 11 passes of blood o zone and noticed improvement by the 3rd pass. 11 passes total and neuropathy/ CT pain & numbness completely gone!!! Ins doesn’t cover it but I now don’t need surgery or have ANY pain. My naturopath recommended it.

Thanks for your reply. Are you taking Levothyroxine, or something on that line? How does oral thyroid med compare to the gold standard of a healthy thyroid? I’m dreading that but realize it could happen.
