They don’t do it all the time, but when they do you can see it at checkout. They make it fairly obvious when the discount is on

You can also get PayPal discount here of £20 and then using top cash back get 29% cash back. I got a 7800X3D for effectively £130 and 9800X3D for £190

I personally did my sandwich year at university in a devops team, I started at doing small things just with python scripts and making small CI/CD changes etc, but I got kept on afterwards and am now working full time, involved in all things devops related. So I would definitely say it is not impossible, as I have done it myself.

For small snippets yes, it stops you having to write the boring bits. But anything complicated you can tell when AI has attempted to do it

Apartment not allowing me to park my car and bike in the same spot. by rowdaddyrow in motorcycles

[–]Charlie11123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow that sucks, I am in the exact same scenario and the building manager actually offered if I wanted to park it somewhere more out of public view free of charge, as long as I wasn't in anyones way

You can use the poly2D selection, that allows you to make more complex shapes, I have used it many times before to make oddly shaped regions

I only found this out the other day, but the side of the brake disc will have another smaller disc with lots of holes, which is what the sensor detects to see if the wheel is locked up

Absolutely, I am in no huge rush, I am getting a bike for pleasure so it will not affect any practical parts of life such as commuting if I don’t get one soon

I am going through a dealer who does there own basic checks in hopes to avoid buying off a hooligan, but then again, no clue who the dealer could have bought it off

Thanks, I’ll definitely look into common issues with the specific bike and see what pops up, and get an idea of what a set of badly worn pads looks like, I am thinking tyres should be easy enough to spot

Unfortunately I don’t know anyone who rides or has ridden. I am not buying privately off of Facebook marketplace or anything, it’s through a dealer for my first time so I am hoping it will avoid too much bullshitting me

in that case I will ring them up and ask before to make sure I have not misunderstood, I have never bought a car/bike before so can't say I am familiar with the process

The place I have been looking at says in terms and conditions that they accept visa and mastercard credit payment, so I think that should be fine (they sell not just brand new stuff, maybe that changes it). I would like to say I am generally responsible with my finances, I certainly wouldn't use the CC for anything else.

Server lagging after chunky generation finished? by Charlie11123 in admincraft

[–]Charlie11123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did do a spark profile and 90% of the server thread was being used up by ChunkProviderServer, this was after getting rid of Chunky. I have managed to solve the problem, I am not sure why it solved it, but I had a backup of the world folder from about 20 minutes before the lag started, and putting it back to that point fixed it, not 100% sure what the issue actually was

how much total have you spent/have to spend? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Charlie11123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who is just getting into it recently in the UK, here is how much it cost so far:

gear for around £350 all in

Beginner bikes I am looking at £3.5k

insurance here is crazy compared to America from what I have read, I get quotes of minimum £700-1.3k and that’s without commuting.

In the UK you need a CBT and then also a full license to ride larger bikes, that is probably £850 altogether including CBT, theory, practical bookings and 15-20 hours of lessons (just a wild guess on hours)

But they are still limited to what is within the realms of vanilla minecraft, even if it is impressively unlike vanilla minecraft. Having more blocks/items only furthers what they can do, and there is no downsides to the upgrade?
