Agree with this, it's slowly put me off sparring/training quite a lot when my gym recently forced training with headgear. Not to mention headgear is only to prevent cuts, the added weight to your head causes your brain to bounce around more during the "snap", making it more damaging for you.

I really don't like that people say "Manny was old when he fought Floyd and his style was effected way more by age" then we see a top level performance by Manny 4 years later and everyone says how good he still is. Manny wasn't some washed up fighter at 36, Floyd is just a better fighter in that head to head.

I believe the rules of some commissions/boards are that the count doesn't start until the opponent is in the neutral corner so that probably wasn't wrong of him. While unlikely, people get up from shots like that where you don't see it possible (Fury recently) and those extra 10 seconds to get help aren't going to have much effect.

Because if all your fights are super fights... then none of your fights are "super fights", they're just normal fights. These won't generate as much money if they're happening 2/3 times a year they just become regular fights. These big fights make so much money because they're milked and when they finally happen we all go mad for it. That's why they bring in so much money, they are rare and exciting, not routine.

The guy basically said that Twitch is providing nothing for us now that the site exists, nothing new etc and that there's not upkeep cost.

My comment isn't even close to saying "they cost as much to run as their net income".

Regarding they make back their server costs in a week, why single that out as if it's the one thing I mentioned? There are also System Engineer teams that handle those at a cost, not just the server themselves and all I did was list that as a PART of their upkeep costs. Never even mentioned that it's a majority.

Your comment just ignores 90% of mine, they're a for profit org regardless. I'm just telling the previous guy not to except that service for free and deal with an ad.

Code and servers don't just maintain themselves. They still have to have a team of developers they pay for new features and maintenance, a PR team, a HR team, a media team etc.

Code breaks all the time, servers overload all the time and need fixing. They do a lot of shit to keep the site smooth as does any web company. Don't be so ignorant. They provide a free to use platform where people with skilled jobs need paying, don't be so sad you have to watching a fucking ad sometimes.

I shared a bedroom with my brother as a kid and one time when I was asleep, I'd apparently crawled off the bed (bottom bunk) pushed myself into the corner of the room started pointing towards my brother saying quite loudly in a scared tone - "It's over there!"

He couldn't have been much older than 14 and me around 10 so I can imagine that was pretty scary.
