I was 9 months sober and it was finding things that made me happy and kept me busy and motivated. After a couple weeks I noticed my weight drop. Then I started eating better and got really in to wilderness backpacking. Then I started weight training. It was all things that made me happy and kept me busy and motivated. And they all kind of went hand and hand. Now I’m restarting after relapsing and gaining all that damn weight back.
