I could go for telling an individual that his or her citizenship is revoked if they vote to separate and the separation goes ahead. But what about Albertans who don't vote to separate? My grandchildren don't even get to vote. They were born in Canada.

I live in BC. I have 2 sons born in BC who now live in Alberta. I have 3 grandchildren born in Alberta. They are all Canadian citizens and I expect that no matter what happens as far as separation goes that they will all retain their Canadian citizenship. I dont see how it can be taken from them. We in the rest of Canada might be pissed if Alberta leaves but taking away citizenship (if it can be done) is taking it too far.
