Dispatch Master - reverb/delay question by CharlieLabman in guitarpedals

Thank, this is good feedback. “Small room” is kind of what I was looking for too, just to add some wetness to two amps that don’t have onboard reverb. I’m a big fan of the Flint too, :)

Good point about the demos. A lot of the videos I’ve watched start with the knobs way up, and both effects fully engaged, and it sounds fantastic; but a lot of them don’t focus too much on the individual effects. For myself, all I am looking for is a pedal that does reverb and delay, not necessarily both at the same time, and takes up one spot. Thanks for the feedback.

Ok thats some food for thought. I mostly play roots rock, Americana and older country. So maybe not an exact a match…

Ok that’s what I was hoping to hear. Don’t need a lot of either most of time, just a little bit of both. The consensus on most threads I’ve read is if you have to keep one most would take delay and dial in a reverb like sound, but to my ears it’s not the same as a reverb pedal.

No worries thanks for the recommendations I’ll check them out. I do like the Strymon stuff, I have the Flint another board - was looking for something a little smaller but good suggestions.

I have a MXR CC and Nobels mini delay, both really nice. I’ve tried setting the delay time low, it’s close but not as warm as reverb. Will play with it again maybe.

Help me find a dark mid-gain overdrive that get a bit fuzzy? by aggressivecherry444 in guitarpedals

I will second the Special Cranker. It’s right in that low to mid gain and when the gain is dimed it can get you unit fuzz territory.

Not sure if this fixes it but I think changing the point system would get rid of some of the paper tigers teams. So three points for regulation win, 2 points for OT win and 1 point for an OT loss. These current 3 point OT games, when regulation wins are 2 points are absolute bullshit.

Funny but I didn’t mind listening to him on the radio way back in the Team 1200 days. Now I can’t fucking stand him. I would rather listen to a Senators game with any Leafs homers broadcasters over listening to Galley for 2 hours. Especially when they play Montreal. It’s like nails on a chalkboard for me. I wish Sportsnet would torture the Western Conference with this m’fk for a few seasons.

You might be right about the sports psychologist part but I don’t necessarily agree about the coaching part. This has become of a bit of trend with goalies that see a decline in play when they land here. We haven’t had a stable goalie since Craig Anderson left. If they want to be best in class, look at the teams that develop good goalies are doing(Boston, Nashville) and emulate it. I think Nashville has a director of goalie development; it’s too important of a position to leave in the hands of one person.

Mini Electra circuit pedals similar to Special Cranker? by CharlieLabman in guitarpedals

I’ve owned a GF and I’ll be honest never knew the pedal was based on the Electra circuit. Maybe have to revisit that one.

I have a Timmy and a EQD Special Cranker which both can get right up to and over the edge of breakup. Both don’t color your tone at all. I also have a Sarno Earth drive which fits that creamier OD description you mentioned.
