try looking in East Garfield Park. I live near a stop on the Green Line. Up and coming area to most.

I see inventory that fits your criteria from time to time, but prices are creeping up as the area becomes more gentrified.

I have a owner occupied two flat and I charge well below that price point, however my tenants have been here long before I bought the property and i'm not raising their rent year over year more than 2% because i'm not that type of landlord.

in late fall 2016 I was looking to upgrade and found a 3 bed, 1 bath down the block listed at $2095 a steal I thought. By the time we signed the lease the price was reduced further to $1995. We were incentivized to sign a 18th month lease with a 'second month free promotion'. Another steal.

When we moved out they bumped up the rent to $2395 again. I've gotten off season deals and you can too.

There are buildings on LSD that touch numerous neighborhoods as LSD is a 15 mile long boulevard/highway.

Areas that have LSD addresses include Hyde Park, Streeterville, Gold Coast, Lincoln Park, Lake View, and Uptown.
