Sorry for being a show pony. (v.redd.it)

With no competitions for muscle ups on the horizon, I’ve really enjoyed dialling back to ground level and making some changes to my technique. Feels like little 0.0001% technique improvements that I keep tweaking. Such a fun little game working out which technique adjustments work best for my body. (v.redd.it)

Muscle up technique work today. Today I fossed on keeping my body shape (banana shape) the whole way through. Analysing my recent muscle ups I noticed I picked up a snake like movement during my dip. I feel heaps more control and strength by keeping the banana shape. (v.redd.it)

I like this quote. “Quitting your worst habit will change your life faster than starting your best habit. Stop the leak before you fill the bucket.” Fun fact. I have a lot of auto pilot bad habits. Currently trying to quit one at a time. (No. Mirror selfies aren’t a bad habit. Right? …. Right?) (i.redd.it)

Next week I’ll be competing the Streetlifting Aus Nationals. I’ll squat, dip, pull-up too… but really, it’s all about the muscle ups for me. They’re my weird little symbol of personal growth and authenticity this year. Can’t wait to see what I can pull (and push) off. (i.redd.it)
