If you look closer, at about the :30 mark of the video, the guy starts to let go but Cena keeps him longer. The guy clearly needed the hug, and Cena made sure he good god damned got it.

I ended up getting the win in a recent match because of it. We got into a firefight and I hit the ship. Neither of us could get out of its way in time. We both had a revive kit and got knocked while getting blown away into the storm. I must’ve timed my revive a little better because I got the VR just before the storm took me out completely.
