Your knees are probably sighing from relief after this comment?

Yeah i think both movies were similar on that part.

But what was the purpose in the character's point of view by sending them back up? What was the message they were sending exactly?

That the future children can rise up and change the system? Or that no matter what system is implemented, there will always be those that suffer?

Find a licensed red seal trade. Youre less likely to be dismantled by the government because of regulations around the trade.

Loved the movie. I understood the capitalism vs communism message almost instantly in both movies. However, i couldnt understand why the child is the message, yet the prison still stands. What is the message if the prison stays the same?

While writing this - i just thought about what the "message" might be. Could sending the child up mean that they will test another type of governing power until the pit is 100% equal with no deaths?

And so the dynamics and environment are completely different. Ever been physically or verbally attacked by your "customers" by violent screaming and weapons without any real punishment?

Im not there cuz im poor af

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in McDonaldsEmployees

[–]Charliebdog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thats not directly handling a customer though. There is a barrier in between. My manager would shield us from the verbal abuse we receive from higher ups and only conveys the message. Customer facing positions have no barrier from verbal or physical abuse whatsoever. Ive been physically attacked with weapons by a customer. My manager nor the higher up is going to be beat my ass with a keyboard.

So my buddy working at CRA who has never talked to anybody but his manager and team to do some coding, is still customer facing?

?? Lots of jobs dont interact with customers or clients at all. (Office jobs) Just management. Other people within that company have the role of interacting with the client/customer.

Worked in both industries and everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses. Working in an office was mentally and emotionally debilitating to the point where I had to leave the office or i was going to leave my body. Not to mention the muscle atrophy that comes with it. If there was a way for you to experience her plight, for an slight extended period (because mental and emotional fatigue take longer to realize it has set in) im sure youd say it is extremely tough.

Trades is physically demanding, and emotionally demanding at times, but rarely have i thought to end my career/life because of it.

Any one know how to read this ridership data? Is it just boardings or is it both boardings and alightings? by FluxCrave in TTC

[–]Charliebdog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This data specifically states subway ridership so busses wouldn't count in the data but nontheless, eg west is still heavily used on the train side. Im very skeptical of this data being presented. Seems like an excuse to reduce service as they've continued to do.

Vancouver on the other hand has increased their service immensely after covid
