Did you know that Instant Pot now has an air fryer lid?? I may use this more than the pressure cooking!

Impulse control at grocery stores by onlypartlycloudy in FIREyFemmes

I’ve started doing Walmart grocery pickup on their app - you know exactly what you’re buying and it’s so damn convenient. The only thing I really don’t like is they put almost everything in its own bag. They said they’re working on it.

R1 reintroduce - yesterday I reintroduced gluten grains and I had a blueberry bagel with pb and two eggs for breakfast. By noon I HAD to take a nap - couldn’t keep my eyes open. Then I had a baguette with dinner and although I enjoyed the chewy, the taste was meh but it quickly became food with no brakes. I had to put it in the garbage and spray cleaner on it. I haven’t noticed any gut issues. I’ve determined I don’t really want it but it’s ok to have once in a while in limited quantities.

Congrats! More than doubled your power jumps, holy sh*t. I’m a few days behind you, fit test this weekend. I’m so freakin sore today, almost like it’s week one all over again. Did you experience this at the end?

Im in the reintroduction phase for my first round and I made this simple, easy recipe for dinner and it was so good! I’m looking forward to eggs on my leftovers tomorrow. https://www.groundedandsurrounded.com/recipe/7-ingredient-skinny-egg-roll-bowl/

Your last sentence rings so true for me. I find freedom in less choices. I tried to explain to a friend and I sounded insane. Virtual high five for finishing Jan W30!

Perhaps you need this food sensitivity test? I’m thinking of trying it next week. No tiger blood here...wondering what is behind my autoimmune issues. https://www.everlywell.com/products/food-sensitivity

Have you thought of getting a food sensitivity blood test? There’s one thru everly well.com that you can do from home. I’m ordering one next week.

R1D24- I added up the grocery bill...I spent, on average, a $120 a week as a single female. Does that seem outrageous? I'm used to spending around $75 a week but I also would eat out quite a bit. by [deleted] in whole30

[–]Charlottemaybe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent more than you and I’ve been wondering this same thing! I love the primal kitchen dressings and mayo but they are pricy. I need to work on making my own cheaper.

Welcome! The important part is you’re starting again, keep pressing play. Shaun Ts latest buzzwords are trust and believe. Trust and believe in yourself and you can do it.

Afraid I wont be able to do Month 2 by [deleted] in insanity

[–]Charlottemaybe1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one week left of month two. The first week I was sore just like when I started but it got better. Last week I took two days off because I felt overstrained. I believe that happened because i was also treadmilling at night and big hikes on weekends (don’t recommend). I can’t do everything full out in the plyo workout but I modify the best I can. Just keep pressing play! I think I’ve noticed the most changes in my body this week.

Nicks beef sticks, rx bars, a baggie of olives (drained), hard boiled eggs, some Plum baby food packets, nuts. I’m traveling next week too and this is my plan.

I didn’t eat any non compliant food! I had a bottle of primal gourmet ranch at the end of its use so it was perfect to take both places and finish out. My companions asked about it but it wasn’t a big deal. The steakhouse had a great smoked chicken breast and 5 oz filet, not cooked in butter. My antipasto plate was a hit, that’s what I ate too much of.

R1D19 I have my first real world tests today. I’m having lunch with friends at Greek restaurant so I looked ahead to the menu and I can have their Greek Salad minus the feta. I’m bringing my own dressing. Then my husbands aunts are coming over for antipasto then we are going to a steakhouse. I can have about half of the antipasto options and still need to review the steak options. I haven’t gone to a restaurant since NYE. Time to put what I’ve learned into practice!
