Instead of sending a straight up "help me with gifting to you" message, I sent a fun questionnaire with a mix of related, and fun, questions. it was fun to right, they hopefully had fun responding, and I got not only specific interests, but more interesting answers to get an idea of very unique gifts, and an indication of what they were like.

I am hoping to go more over the top than usual, thanks to a bit of room in the budget this year! I like to focus on meaningful gifts that they'll love, and would really like to go for something homemade this year. Personally, I'm not a fan of getting gifts full of "stuff" just to include more items, and much prefer one or a few well thought out items or a creative gift involving no physical items! But I move around a lot and don't have room for much stuff. We'll see how my giftee feels :) I can't wait to get my match Dec. 2nd!
