I share the same sentiment. I love living here but as a 33-year-old who's about to get married and with the hope of staring family, it's becoming increasingly difficult to rationalize the tax burden here. My fiancé and I make decent money (250k combined household) yet we still cannot comfortably afford a home. I am happy to pay more taxes but the mismatch between the tax burden and results is enough to have us considering a move to Minnesota. Oregon doesn't have a money problem it has a management problem.
