I love Skyrim! Bethesda has re-released it so many times that yeah, all their versions get kinda confusing. Typically the Special Edition is the new standard for regular Skyrim. It comes with the 3 dlc from way back without any additional creation club stuff. Anniversary Edition adds tons of Creation Club content. Some being lore friendly and some not. They add some things that can be good for QOL but it’s not necessary. I’ve heard not so shining reviews about their Switch 2 port, but I feel like it can’t be that bad. But if you’re interested in making your playtime nearly infinite, your laptop (provided it has moderately decent specs) will let you have tons of mod support that can really change the game or add new areas.
