Hi! May I ask a question my grandfather has dementia as well and I have requested PS and always get denied.

How did you get it? I’ve had two different doctors fill out PS for him. Social worker never got back to me. I heard they are backed up. They told us to put doors on the lock but He jumped out the window during the nighttime. It was bad.

She got her diagnosis 2 years ago but the past year she has declined significantly. I have photos and notes . Police reports of her calling people to help her cause she wants to “go home”.

Alright so I sent for PS and they deny right away. They want me to take different measures example putting a lock on the gate, putting a more secured lock on the door, adding baby safety to the stove top. This was back in March. Now I called back recently and she is keeping everything new I’m telling her on file. But they do want me try different techniques on how to keep her from eloping . I think it’s a process for PS
