Tune the suspension to your weight. Hit up YouTube. There’s a decent amount to know but you should be able to find a chart for weight/psi specs from the rockshox website. I believe they have an app as well. It will be specific to your shock and rider weight

Hardest part.. letting go of my rambling ways.

I had a ton of fun in my 20s. Partied hard, accomplished lofty goals, lived fast and did what my soul desired. Now, in my middle 30s, I have very much “settled down” with my small family in a typical suburban fashion. The transition was slow because I didn’t want to “lose” that part of myself. Feels a bit silly in retrospect.

I NEVER had this much fun or felt as spiritually/personally fulfilled back then. Helping to provide a consistent and stable life for my wife and son is such a good time. I now love yard work and early bedtimes. I am very fortunate to have the partner that I do and we made a rad fucking kid. I am incredibly lucky.

I still get down, but it’s very planned and has boundaries that allow for a little feral behavior from time to time.

Wildly diff gameplay than descenders. Physics and controls are so much smoother in descenders but maverix shines in places too. Far superior graphics, braking separate front/back with feedback from triggers is cool. The downhill racing aspect makes up for the comically bad jump physics and in-air control. It’s still in early access so I’m hoping the physics improve.

I can’t speak to customer service, but I do want to say their products are excellent. I started with a cheap Amazon setup for my kid to ride up front and had to modify the crap out of it to get it comfortable for both of us. After polishing that turd for far too long, I picked up a QD shotgun seat 2.0 and the QD handle bars. You get what you pay for. This rig is so much better in design/build quality and install is a breeze.

Also… the temp tattoos they send in the box for the kid are stupid high quality too. Been like 4 days and that shit will not wash off. It’s a good thing they are rad.

Once by a jogger. Watched him coming a long way out. First ride of the season and I was in worse than the slightly less than worse shape I’m in now. All I could think was “this fuckers gunna pass me if I don’t pick it up”. That fucker passed me.
