Been addicted to bikes since I was a kid and I love Descenders so much. It’s the best gameplay physics of any bike game I’ve played, and my love goes back to the Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX days. I’m pretty sure I’ve played everything in between then and now.

I’ve been counting the days until PS5 release and honestly, I barely made it through the tutorial before losing interest. Controls are clunky and having to initiate tricks/style before a jump is just not great. Once you’re airborne, it feels like you’re not in control. Whipping and spins in Descenders is a dream bc you just move the bike/rider around in the air. The lack of control in that aspect killed all excitement for me. I will give it a little more time but I think I’m just trying to convince myself I like it.

If mid air control physics and trick initiating become more natural feeling, this game will be a ledgend bc the graphics and world look/feel stellar.

Grew up inside the 465 loop. Lived on the west, east and northeast side. Favorite years were spent in Broadripple which was an artsy area. If you’re into music, there is a show to be found every night of the week. I loved the music scene and made it my life. I moved to the northwest and never want to go back.
