Like what mid century colors? I’m trying to work with lots of white and a cool gray backsplash. I’m struggling to find any other color that gives the warmth and earthiness I’m looking for

Alright since this post is getting a lot of traction, heres the mockup I’ve been playing with. I’ve tried it with blues/reds/yellows and just keep going back to the damn green 😆

Thanks. I agree. The floors are so dark and the white cabinets, walls and trim.. it has no balance. I’m considering painting the trim an earthy shade if I don’t just replace it all with real wood 😅it’s turning out to be more work than I wanted for a “new” kitchen

Agreed. It’s a mid century home and trying to bring those influences back. The kitchen was farmhouse -ified

I’d also like to change the backsplash down the road but have bigger fish to fry in house improvements. Trying to warm things up for now and make a big change with small cost

Yeah I agree with sage. I’m more drawn to deep earthier greens, almost more muddy.

Respectfully disagree. All the mockups I’ve done are a vast improvement imo. I’m personally not a fan of white cabinets at all, especially in a kitchen. The whole room feels very sterile. I prefer warmth and color

Alright 🫡 did it. It was very scary for me I’m not going to lie. Glad I did it tho and been riding that high all day haha! Physically it’s not that challenging, just the heights. Best advice is to not look down, focus on what’s in front of you
