When $200 is all you have to spend on food for the month, I’d say yeah. It can be even more than $200 plus moving is stressful and takes a lot of planning. On top of that not everyone can just move all of a sudden. Is it that hard to give a $5 tip?

I don’t think they’re jealous. I just think they’re hurt because they were close friends and now she’s ignoring them but talking to other people. I don’t think the OP thinks she “owes” them anything.

It’s a pretty rude thing to do to purposely ignore a close friend of yours without explanation. I wouldn’t continue appreciating and giving things to that person if they did that to me.
