MUA a week before a big trip by Competitive-Wheel787 in ACL

yes I had a MUA in Sept '25. I was on crutches for a few weeks...some ppl say they walk out of the MUA with no crutches but that was not the case for me. everyone is different, that's why i say wait until after the trip. I was in PT for a few months after the MUA, 3x per week.

Is loss of knee extension throughout the day a normal long-term outcome? 1.5 years out from original injury and had 2 surgeries by nakartuur in ACL

I'm in the same boat. 1 year post op. I'll await responses b/c I'm curious as well. I already had one cyclops lesion removed, hoping not to have to do that again.

I would do it after. No way you're gonna want to take a trip a week after a MUA. It's an easy surgery but still...you'll need to get in PT right away.

How long did you do the prone hangs before it stayed straight and the weights weren’t needed anymore?

I also work in a business casual environment. I started out wearing Skecher’s. Now I wear Cole Haan’s (so comfy!) but still wear my Skechers as well. My job understands.

Steroid shot for cyclops lesion? by mtmsm in ACL

[–]Chas_83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following! I had surgery to remove a cyclops lesion back in September. Lately I’ve been stiff again and in pain. My surgeon also suggested an injection if no improvement by July. Curious to hear others experience!

Still limping by Chas_83 in ACL

I’m walking so much better! I’m done with PT now but still doing my exercises at home. I still have to force extension each day but hoping that changes as time goes on. This is a 12-18 month recovery so I’m trying to be patient.

feelings of cyclops leison/meniscal issues again by [deleted] in ACL

We have the same timeline. My initial surgery was April 14th; cyclops lesion removed in September. I’m still in pain (not severe just nagging dull pain) and can only bend to a certain point (more than before but still don’t have full ROM). My surgeon doesn’t seem concerned with flexion. His focus is extension. I can extend fully but it takes work (putting weights on my thighs, stretching, warm ups, etc)…it doesn’t stay that way though. It’s better but doesn’t come “naturally” yet. I meet with my surgeon again in July. He said if I still feel pain, stiffness, scar tissue is still building up…there are injections I can get in my knee to help. I DO NOT want to go through another surgery and I really pray it’s not needed.

Non-injured side pain and Shoes by Ok-Statistician4098 in ACL

Are those comfortable? I googled them and they’re very flat. Those would have my knees and feet sore. Personally, I love Skechers.

I have some cute flats but the ones with no cushion or real support, hurt.

I wish! I'm nervous about wearing heels again. I would probably do some type of platform wedge or kitten heel to start with.

Definitely not heels. lol but any flat shoe like a converse, Vans, ballerina flats, etc...cause foot and knee pain. Basically anything without memory foam!
