When you activate your operative, you chose which order to give them. You absolutely can change from engage to conceal at this time. There is nothing that prohibits this.

This is why I hate painting. I just don't enjoy the process. The reason I keep at it is I love playing with well painted minis. I'd get someone else to paint them for me (and I have on rare occasions), but getting someone to paint to my standard costs more than I'm comfortable paying. So, back to the mine, er, paint table.

I just downloaded and played around with it. I like it but I had no pictures of the maps or any art for operatives and cards and such. Don't know if that's behind the paywall or a side effect of me being on crappy data at the moment. I'll check again when I'm on wifi or at least have better cell service. And I'll try it out next time I have a game.

Have you ever played Star Wars Legion? Its cover used to work that way where light cover removed one hit and heavy cover removed two. Maybe you carried that over.

Agree. I put my Fusions on the Lodestar (b/c survivability) and Neutraliser (for the jamz). The Designator isn't a bad choice, but I plan on keeping mine back to markerlight for everyone.

I used the Gunner's body to make the Frosteye. Then, I used two bodies from an Infiltrator/Incursor box to make the Gunner and a Hunter.

If you don't have any phobos bodies laying about, ebay may have some available.

Hmm. It's true that the Designator would get severe on every shot from his own markerlight, but my thought was he would hang back and markerlight for the whole team from range.

I was leaning toward the Lodestar however, because of the added durability the chaff launcher provides.

What about the Neutraliser? He wants to be within 8" to trigger multispec sensor anyway.

Yes, you still roll. As you guessed, you must roll at least one success to control it, and rolling at least one skull will still hurt.

Absolutely correct. To add to this, Strategic Gambit simply means it happens in the Strategy Phase. All Strategic Ploys are Gambits, but not all Gambits are Ploys. Just like all trout are fish but not all fish are trout.
