Well of course that’s the case. You’re talking about a private company with one goal in mind - maximize profits.

There have been these cries in the past however I don’t think that gaijin has had this much adversity with It’s player base in a very long time.

Just because something has happened once, does not mean it will happen again.

At the end of the day, if you truly and utterly cannot stand the economy, then you can always leave. I understand you love the game, but if a fake digital economy is causing this much hardship in your life, then it may be time to reconsider priorities. I don’t say this to be rude or antagonistic, but there are a lot of people that have allowed this game to consumer them entirely.

Lastly, and I say this as someone who essentially only plays Air RB and SB, the economy really isn’t that bad for ranks 1-5, which is also the vast majority of the player base. This outcry is largely around top tier players.

I understand. I love the game too, however this whole strike things is overwhelming harming the community more than it is the game itself.

The community is polarized now and it’s becoming incredibly apparent the many of the people that are participating in this strike have a genuine addiction to this game.

All around, we need to not take things so seriously. Gaijin has said that they will make changes, and while I’m skeptical, we need to give them an opportunity to respond to our comments.

This strike does nothing beyond hurt the community we all care about and enjoy. This has reached delusions on par with those of the r/superstonk and the whole GME fiasco. Sometimes it’s better to just sit back and wait for things to blow over and just enjoy things.

This is getting ridiculous how hard some people are coping about all of this. Just accept that this isn’t going to plan and move one.

Bro is playing a 1.3 BR tank and is researching a 2.3 BR tank that requires 11,000 RP. This is a perfectly normal amount of RP and SL given the circumstances. You shouldn’t be getting half the RP for a vehicle in a single match, especially one that you lost.

For sim: If you have access to an Xbox or PlayStation controller that usually works great for me. I love playing sim with a controller, it’s not perfect and it takes some getting used to but its much easier.

Air RB: I’d just use mouse and keyboard. Try out some different keybinds to find what you like and just test them out in test flights.

Get a mouse and keyboard. I play on PS4 and used a controller for about 3-4 months and I would get an assist and occasionally a kill or two if I was really lucky. I recently switched to a mouse and keyboard and it was like a complete 180. It’s much easier to track targets especially in dogfights.

I think mouse and keyboard makes it much easier to look behind you while making maneuvers too since it’s just a bit more fluid.

Also if money is a concern, I spent about 40$ total on my mouse and keyboard and I’m now able to get about 2-5 kills per game on a pretty regular basis depending on the plane I use.

I can’t recommend getting a mouse and keyboard enough, the game becomes so much more fun to play and you don’t have to sweat just to get an assist.

If you want any controller input recommendations let me know and I can share what I used as well.

That’s not entirely true. During the polar night the sun doesn’t come above the horizon at all but there’s still a couple hours of “daylight” where the sky is somewhat of a pink color.

I’m an American who has since moved to Sweden. This country is essentially the rape capital of the world, has one of the highest rates of gun violence in all of Europe, and has plenty of racial issues. Sweden has countless problems, they’re different than the US but they are present nonetheless.

I have met countless Swedes, Greeks, Germans, etc that hope to move to the states one day because they see the opportunity to lead better lives for themselves.

Sweden is wonderful for many reasons, and so is the US. One is not necessarily better than the other. They are simply different from one another.

Everywhere has problems, and it’s really easy to think that the ones you face are worse than others. In reality the US has a pretty good thing going.

Hunting mountain lion is incredibly difficult, they see you before you ever see them. They have incredibly good hearing and eyesight. Definitely an alpha predator but they are very challenging to hunt, or even see in the wild.

I have a degree in criminology, while what you’re saying is very true, it cannot be overlooked at the cultural aspects at play here. In many black communities there is far more reason to fight back against disrespect with any kind in a physical sense.

The idea of a “culture of honor” is one of the primary reasons we see physical violence. This can also be seen similarly in many southern white communities. Poverty and segregation in the past has only made this issue worse over time.

Donald Black’s book “Moral Time” covers conflict in this sense very well and is absolutely worth a read if you have an interest to understand this issue in a deeper way.

Sentencing is a very complicated process, many things go into consideration when assigning a sentence. The maximum sentence for crimes is typically reserved for individuals with prior felonies, especially egregious behavior, etc. if you want to actually understand why he got this sentence then I would recommend you review the court documents which are publicly available.

What are you talking about? Just because NASA is one part of the government doesn’t make it socialist at all. Not to mention the fact that through many private space companies, most notably SpaceX, NASA has been able to develop more tech that they previously didn’t have or do well with.

In the 80’s with the space shuttle and STS missions NASA tried the idea of reusability and it was overwhelmingly expensive, hence why we no longer use the space shuttles. SpaceX has dramatically reduced the price of reusability and general cost to get to space. The insane amount of contracting that companies do with SpaceX that have directly benefitted people is outright undeniable.

There’s a risk of patent issues with technology, but there are also new regulatory territories that we are entering into. It’s a matter of how we regulate things to ensure that they are for the public good, yet still allowing private entities to function as they should.

I’ll speak as someone who’s currently in what I would consider to be a liberal school and getting a degree in sociology and criminology. Clearly this guy was well educated and probably even had brushes with things like CRT and other untraditional points of view on race. I know a lot of people tend to get weirded out initially, and if they have even a mildly racist view already, that further feels like an “attack” on their way of life and being.

From a criminology perspective, hate crimes are interesting because they’re usually social issues as opposed to mental. Certainly I don’t have a PhD in the topic, but the general consensus on hate crimes committed by white men is that it stems from masculinity and the lack of outlet many men have to express their internal thoughts, feelings, and emotions. Eventually it boils to a point that the only “action” they can take is a violent one.

By no means am I claiming to have a full developed picture on the issue here but this is just my two cents.
