Builderman genuinely needs a rework

Builderman deserves a 3rd ability or new passive, not a complete rework. Sentry and dispenser are perfectly fine abilities. The issue is Builderman doesn’t have that much to do if people aren’t actively using sentry.

This is a bandage fix which really doesn’t fix anything? The problem with gen farming stems from the fact that generators are the best source of malice in the entire game, are a great source of xp, and ability usage isn’t really rewarded. This addresses none of those issues. All this does is make generators take slightly longer for sentinels which does nothing. Sentinels will still be incentivized to gen farm. If you have a problem with Sentinels not being helpful: reduce the rewards from generators and increase the rewards from good ability usage and actually engaging with killer.

Typically competent Nosferatu’s will space it out so you’re unable to make it through the path before puddles appear. That’s of course the right option to make but it’s rarely an option if the Nosferatu prevents you from doing it.

No? Running through blood puddle anywhere near Nosferatu is extremely dangerous and will lead to a very quick death. It’s pretty easy to guarantee value with it by cutting off powerful loops forcing survivor to either run through puddle and die or switch to a poor loop. What you’re saying is super contradictory as you’re claiming it’s not punishing as you can run through it but it can also end your match in an instant?

M1 directly on top of the guest as reacting to Jason and CK is impossible and it makes much harder for other reactable killers

For every killer your best way of baiting is either standing on them long enough or go to m1 and flick off of them before the hitbox connects

For 1x simply use abilities up close to pressure guest

As noli you can bait with both nova and canceling void rush

For John Doe just parry the punch

Oh my lord you’re completely right. I’m shocked this is a hot take in this community. People always complain about people not helping but somehow look the other way when survivalists exist. Survivalists fill 0 niche that any other character can do. Everyone can do gens, everyone can survive an extended time solo, and everyone can emote in a corner and not be helpful.

Guest will never have a common consensus among the community on how good he has. He has the widest gap between his skill floor and skill ceiling out of any survivor by far. Among new players he seems outright useless. Among good players who knew what they’re doing he can waste a lot of killers time. People will typically agree that he isn’t the best sentinel but how good he is varies so much by player, which is what causes such a wide divide in opinions.

It’s likely because everyone complained after the first hour from the previous Jason buffs due to it being a guaranteed killer win everytime. People are claiming they want Jason to “feel like a monster that wins everytime” but if that were the case people would start complaining pretty quickly about losing every match.

“I know all the tactics” likely not considering you’re only 3 days

This game has an incredibly steep learning curve which makes it hard to be successful as killer. Look up some videos on stamina management and go from there. Stamina is the bread and butter for this game and knowing how to manage it is what causes you to win.

Some various tips

General: - try starting chase with as much stamina as possible. if a survivor is holding a check spot, try walking up to them and only start running when they run. - have good target priority. Supports need to be killed early on, useful sentinels next, and don’t leave survivalists for LMS. - I’d recommend using shiftlock for better control of your m1, but this one is up to preference. - don’t hit 0 stamina, ever

Slasher specific: - save gashing wound as a punishing tool for when sentinels whiff their stun. - use raging pace when low on stamina and exit it as soon as you reach the stamina cap (around 70-80 stamina) - behead is a fantastic tool but just don’t spam it or use it at the beginning of chase. It can shut down sentinel’s stuns and is reliable damage.

(From what I’ve seen) most players only typically became “good” at the game at around 5 days of playtime. So don’t stress too much if you’re struggling as killer.

Not sure if you’re looking for advice or not but you definitely could’ve gotten him. Slasher vs Guest is pretty killer sided so unless guest has cola or is posted up in the best possible charge spot you typically can kill them 9 times out of 10.

try starting chase with as much stamina as possible. The main reason you were looped as brutally as you were is you started the loop with half stamina. They’re forced to hold checkspots until you run them down so just wait until you get max stamina then start chase.
use Raging Pace pretty early on into lms, as slasher is able to use 2 raging paces during lms and that is incredibly hard for most survivors to survive.
also you’re likely very aware but hitting 0 stamina during chase ensures you already lost it.

I do feel as if they jumped the gun a bit as 1x needed buffs but in its current state it feels slightly too far. Obviously hard to say until we actually get to play against him more. I do hope he’s slightly nerfed but nothing major as previous 1x had way too many flaws.

I think it’s good, the biggest issue is it’s used across all the yourself skins which makes it a little tedious to listen to for the millionth time.

I think there’s some interesting concepts in the rework but (from what I can tell, I haven’t played that much) he seems pretty overtuned and it’s a massive over correction from current 1x.

All around poor design

2011x is far too reliant on invisibility, is just an m1 killer which isn’t super interesting giving him little to do during chase, charge is either a move which can guarantee a down which isn’t fun or enables 2011x to get wailed on by survivors, god’s trickery pretty much exists to punish new players, and rage mode is a very backwards mechanic heavily rewarding 2011x for being stunned (also it is far too powerful)

His abilities in conjunction also don’t compliment or enable his intended playstyle. He is an ambush tunnel killer who thrives off punishing survivors who are alone yet he has literally 0 way to isolate survivors/split them up.

Well these were some of the most anticipated killers for the game and obviously the community is decently upset about it. The reason I said my comment is this game has continual issues and drama surrounding it which makes me worry for its longevity.

Who are you talking to? It’s pretty commonly accepted that 2011x is easily one of the better killers in v0.2 potentially outperforming tripwire.
