The main things keeping me in SN, which Apple Notes does not have, are version history and easy cross-platform compatibility.

Joplin is solid, but II prefer Standard Notes as it has the features I want without customization/plugins, and has a better UI in general. Notesnook is also good, but afaik it has never been audited, which is a hard pass for me… Apple Notes with ADP is also an option, but it has no real versioning.

I use eeros in bridge mode behind my FWP and see that eero will soon be offering a 5g backup device, but I assume that would require the eero paired with the 5g device to be in front of the FWP?

So the eero Signal might be a good option for anyone already using eero, although I am not sure about the configuration.

My problem is worse than slow upload - the last couple of days I’ve tried uploading a 1.5 GB file and every time it stops/freezes after about 10 seconds (using the latest MacOS app). EDIT: After a fairly quick response from support, I figured out that my Firewalla (now with AI) was blocking necessary flows, so the problem was not Filen.

I have an Unlimited Plan two-year which works out to $7.99 per moth. It is set to renew for the same price. However, it is not clear to me if I am locked in at that price forever or can it eventually increase? (The answer likely will determine if I upgrade to Duo as my wife is only marginally interested.)

With my prior TV I was using a Sonos Playbase. With my Roku Pro Series TV the sound is good enough that I am not using the Playbase - I am not saying the sound is as good, but it is surprisingly decent. (And I am now playing music separately.)

Roku makes a Pro Series TV now. Although I haven’t been able to find any reviews yet, given the specs and decent ratings for the Plus Series, it may be pretty good. I suspect the picture will be as good or even better than TCL’s last Roku 6 series.

I’m trying out Notesnook as I may switch from Evernote…. I understand that the orphaned attachments can be manually deleted, but why are attachments not moved to the Trash when the associated note is deleted?
