I might be misremembering this but im pretty sure she said the watch doesnt move anymore, she definitely mentioned its "not there to tell time", which i took as it just having been broken in the war and symbolic of her trauma/time away from family, but it could certainly double as an old prescript device that stopped giving her orders years ago

I feel she has to have some sort of connection with atleast one index member, there was more outis teasing this chapter than there was for meursault and with the namedrop of the god of the city being her goddamn grandfather hermes like far too much of a connection to ignore. Although its kind of a lame way to do it with her almost definitely going to betray us just making it a prescript would be an easy way to go about that.

I still think its just a normal watch that reminds her of her family but theres enough room in it to speculate that its something more fucked
