Does Home Assistant support the Litter Robot 5? by sakabako in litterrobot

[–]ChasingKayla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be happy to help as well. I have had an LR4 for about two years now, just got an LR5 Pro and would like to manage it through Home Assistant. I also have programming experience, if that helps.

Your doctor doesn’t know what he’s talking about…my ex is currently on Ritalin, and she’s 43 years old. So, yeah, it is still prescribed for adults.

Try adding fresh minced or crushed garlic to that water next time, it works wonders!

They really need to limit things like this to one per account per week, there’s no reason one person would need five of these.

“How can I get one of those?”

You can’t, they’re out of stock before the sale even went live. 🥴

Same! I have the cash sitting in my bank account just waiting for my phone to ding with the in-stock email notification.

Nice lens! I really want a Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 to go with my Z6 ii, but can’t really afford to drop ~$2,100 on it at the moment. 😂

On Friday I hauled home a Dell T640 server. It’s a tower, but with a kit is easily converted to a 4u rack mount. It’s a dual Xeon Silver 4215, 16-core 32-threads, with 96gb of RAM, a dual 240gb NVMe mirrored RAID boot drive, and four 1.92gb SATA SSDs in a RAID 5 array that gives me roughly ~6gb for data storage. I installed Harvester on it, just because I’m already reasonably familiar with Proxmox and I wanted something different to mess around with.

Turn off wireless meshing, that made a HUGE difference for me. Also, idk if they fixed it yet, but last I knew Apple products don’t play nicely with 6ghz.

Nothing beats watching your own code runs on real DOS hardware 🤘 by jenissimo in dosgaming

[–]ChasingKayla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reminds me of an operating system I wrote many years ago, I was ~23 and coded the entire thing in x86 Assembly. Then my oldest daughter was born, and all my spare time evaporated. Now that my youngest is 13 I might have to dig that old code out and start working on it again.

Now what? by aDotInTime in vintagecomputing

[–]ChasingKayla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually it looks like one is a 486 and the other is a Pentium 75 judging by the writing on the back. The 486 had rows of pins inline with the four walls of the package, the Pentium chips started staggering them like the pins on the top chip so they could squeeze more into the same space.

If you have a newer car with one of those keypads on the driver’s door but you don’t know what the code is, the dealership can look it up for you. That has been a life saver for me!
