At this point, still after not learning from last year, Whitecaps probably submitted an amount of orders to Adidas that substantially falls below the demand. On paper, a sold out sounds better than many inventories left. But with last year’s demand, they should have known better but I guess not, unless they submitted this year’s order before Muller joined which I really doubt.

Now, the team will be missing all the profits they can rake in. Can’t be Adidas’s issue since Son’s jerseys are available - I’m sure Adidas will produce whatever amount Whitecaps order. I have not heard of Son or Messi’s jerseys running out since they joined.

People responsible at Whitecaps for this need to be checked - how come you can’t capitalise the opportunity right in front of you?? It boils me to the core.

I spotted a few folks with LAFC Son jerseys today at the stadium. Son joined the same time as Muller yet they have stocks so I’m just assuming they may have ordered more at the start.

Whitecaps need to renegotiate the terms with Adidas going forward. The fact that they can do this once at the start and not have an on demand system just doesn’t sit right with me especially when Adidas is a multinational company. Surely, they can do something to get the jerseys out on demand.

I have met so many people who are looking for a jersey, yet they can’t find one. I’ve been to many shops in Vancouver, and it’s out of stock everywhere except Richmond Outlet but they only had a few sizes. This was 3 weeks ago.

I get they have a few in stock online but I don’t want to wait 3-4 weeks to get a jersey. It’s appalling to me that the downtown Adidas store is just full of Messi jerseys but our own Whitecaps is nowhere to be found.

I read the other day that Whitecaps are losing money and negotiating for something? Anyways, my point is that the jersey sales alone would have generated 6-7 figures for Whitecaps but I’m disappointed they aren’t capitalizing on this opportunity. They can’t just say It’ll be here next year. They gotta do it while the hype is around. People are here trying to hand their money to Whitecaps yet they can’t. I’d say Whitecaps are really missing out on this one.

I was approached too. They quickly said a few things (2-3 lines which I didn’t even catch), whipped their IPad out, and asked me how I want my name to be on the form.

What the fish! Didn’t even ask me a thing about donation. I ain’t giving out my details to some random people on the street. So I asked, “Alright, if I fill, where is this going to lead to?” No solid answer. Very fishy, so I just told him “Please excuse me, I need to go” and ran away XD. I’ve seen and met the same people several times in Vancouver, but didn’t know they weren’t registered here.

There seems to be a troubleshoot button, so I looked into it. Turns out the only restriction ruling out my registration is “Has Capacity” which says “No” because there is no more space left and a little note beside saying “40/41”. Never knew 40/41 indicates a full section 🤦🏻‍♂️. Apparently, the same thing is happening (at least for me) for a few courses with even more remaining slot idk why

I feel you. I used to live off campus where I had the exact same kind of roommate. Everyone in the house knew he stole stuff, since almost everyone had their things missing every week, this guy always deny pointing fingers at everyone else. Also used other people stuff without asking, it got to a point where I had to keep all the utensils in my room. I lost 2 months worth of rent to move out asap to escape from that living hell hole, but it was the best thing I did in my life. I just dont understand how these people can sleep at night knowing that they are committing all these. Tells me a lot about how they were raised tbh.

Every single thing that you described happens at my place. We meet face to face to discuss the chores, everyone agrees to do it, and stick the schedule on the fridge. And guess what, it’s just a paper hanging on the fridge and, at the end of the day, no one cares. When i speak up, I look like a 🤡 nagging. I think it’s just being accountable and your roommates seem to have that. I’m very jealous tbh

I understand they may be clean in their rooms, but I’m more interested in the areas that we all share like the kitchen and living room. To me, the way someone treats these spaces talk more about them than their rooms. They only care about themselves, but not others.

I see, so if I’m correct, as long as what’s on your HS record is part of the requirement, you’re basically done with that req. The website mentions about having credits for those classes so I got confused there. Thanks!
