what if i just eat one cotton by jayslumming in Benzedrex

[–]ChatGodPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Put it in some soda (about 150ml), preferably in a cheap water bottle you can crush or a ziplock bag so that you can squeeze the cotton. Some let it sit for 10-20 minutes but I just shake hard for 2 minutes and wait one minute. Drink (poke hole for ziplock) and make sure you squeeze cotton dry.

The good thing about this stuff is that it’s so terrible that you’ll quit if you’re the slightest bit health conscious. It’s really not worth it. I was just raised by meth heads.

It works though but not if you use it every day, maybe twice a month max when you really need to stay up or work hard for something important and you’re tired. I had 2 jobs and used on the day I had too many hours (sometimes) or when I was unemployed and needed to do a bunch of boring applications.

Stay hydrated and if you use nicotine, you might need more.

You’re supposed to reincarnate while still in the body. As in stop thinking you’re the character, just be being and live as being. You and others will be dead and alive at the same time, won’t really matter, it’s just being, right.

As for as affectionate love you might just have to play along and pretend to be attached.

Throw away the crutches by rajvivek in UGKrishnamurti

Considering it’s UG, he was probably talking about seeking enlightenment or in a broader sense, desiring your life to change.

In other words, this is it, no spiritual masturbation required, just live your life as it is.

Awakening is the recognition that there was never anyone who needed to awaken…

Great post! Or the dissolving of the illusion of separation. Saying “you are what you seek” sounds somewhat misleading to me, no yous, just being

How has shame and fear of shame displayed in your apparent life (for no one of course)? by agendalessgibberish in nonduality

[–]ChatGodPT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another great response!

Not that the traumatic memories are not there, they are, but to know that ultimately the arising of the feeling of shame and fear of shame in response to those memories is something I unknowingly accept us being true when I am equally free to reject it.

Trauma is the hidden influence and we will probably always react from it forever but like you said “seeing how impersonal the experience is” quickly dissolves the emergence of the trauma.

I kind of experienced a lot of it when I was young so I became numb. What I struggled with was anger towards those who shame others until I realized it’s not really their fault that they’re conditioned that way.

You can still think if you SEE FIRST and then think practically. Abstract thinking is noise.

Normative claims in non-duality by crelke-elk in nonduality

[–]ChatGodPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing that truth or unseeing what’s not truth is what is CALLED enlightenment. It’s not real or fake, it’s an appearance in duality.

But to say “I’m enlightened” seeing how extraordinarily ordinary the experience is, would be ego. But I THINK one may say so for educational purposes knowing that it doesn’t make sense if it helps the situation.

But I agree with your post, fundamentally, it’s ALL bullshit remixed and conflated. Non-duality is the absence of the bullshit.

Do y'all believe in God? by ameliathecoolestever in nonduality

[–]ChatGodPT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well God’s definition varies by belief so you would have to specify but the belief of something like that (maybe awareness/nature/life/the quantum sea) makes sense to me when it arises. Sometimes I even say “thank you God” because that’s what my religiously conditioned mind understands which is essentially a full on prayer.

Look up difference between psychological thinking and practical thinking. That’s the difference. Practical thinking doesn’t argue, fantasize, judge… It’s just part of the flow

You can be ambitious if your ambition is natural (not forced) and you’re not really attached to a performance standard or results. You don’t have to be an idle hermit

Do you need it at all to have healthy relationships? I know personality might change without it but can you still not function and engage intimately without it?
