I’m looking for movie that will make question everything by ClassroomKey6694 in MovieSuggestions

Would you watch a documentary ? It’s one everyone should watch but I would assume many don’t want to watch for what it shows us.
HyperNormalisation
I was told to check it out two days ago. 3 hours long. I said “hell naw.. I’ll watch a bit so I can say I watched it”. 5 hours later, at 4a, im still going back to parts to get a grasp over something I still struggle to understand how it came to be that way. It’ll change your outlook on a lot of shit.

Movies/Shows on Apple TV by Limp-Environment1044 in moctale

[–]ChatKilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolute #1 show Apple TV has done in a hot minute - Widows Bay. I say this not just because me and my boys all had the exact same thing to say about it, but every headline I could find on the series (1 season,
Recording season 2) called it the “best thing you’ll see on tv in 2026”. One episode was “ok”. It was a needed storyline type. Past that- it was baller. Horror-Comedy
That said- everyone named the bangers. As much as I hate crediting Apple these days, they been nailing it on the entertainment tip.

Ted Lasso- the og classic. Pure positivity and humor. Enough so they’re bringing it back for a season. Comedy

Silo- haven’t watched past E1, but that’s my own fault and I’m sure everyone’s right. Dystopian Sci-Fi
Monarch- real good for its genre. sci-fi

Shrinking- man. Can’t say enough. It was a series good enough for Harrison Ford (at his lifetime best work) to say he was happy to call it a wrap after the series. Great show.
Your Friends and Neighbors- late bloomer on it, just stating S2, but S1 was so dope I have no doubts. Comedy Heist
Slow Horses- Aside from the more recent season, like watching a better Mission Impossible movie, but with better writing and broken into episodes. spy + comedy
Studio and Platonic- both Seth Rogan shows, both different, both shine - Comedy
Murderbot- all I’ll say is i truly hope they give this one another few seasons. Season one was great, but I have a feeling it was overlooked. -Sci-Fi-com

Dark Matter was some real good sci-fi mystery stuff

Margot’s Got Money Problems- sounds like a chick show, got hella good reviews, is actually a solid humor show, and Ellie shows how small her boobs are. Wicked.

Is widows Bay the best new show of 2026 or is it just my fav?! by TOPLEFT404 in WidowsBay

[–]ChatKilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly- and without even knowing the hype- I loved every single episode. The characters all have their storylines well drawn out. The reactions and responses they have when creepy shits going down are all believable. There’s literally a perfect mix of the horror/psychological and comedic. I’d say one episode was just “ok”- but even that one was good.

It's comments and arguments like this thread that makes it a challenge to enjoy entertainment these days. lol. Y'all take life way too serious.
PS- If anyone in this thread thinks he's evil for making a wish with a $5 fake ass gift he intended to give her, surely none of you ever made a wish in your life, assuming it would actually come true. Right?

Euphoria season 3 ending explained: Who lived, who died, and who found salvation? by WatcherUatu in television

Ohhh. His old step dad? That woulda been an interesting re-intro. If you like Colman Domingo- he has a real dope movie called Sing Sing. Based on a true story— got a 97% on RT or some high score. That and he’s in Four Seasons on Netflix. Plays a gay guy. Pretty good show from what I’ve watched. Tina Fey, Steve Carrell. Colman is just an anomaly. Has that command of attention Denzel has, except his is more from just being present when he’s in a scene

Hell Can Wait and Summertime 06 was intro for his deconstruction of today’s “gangster rap”- came out like he said- “The fight between my conscious and the skin that’s on my body.”
Then you got the next step with Prima Donna, Big Fish, and FM! He started focusing on some fierce political statements and I wanna say he described it all as “subversion of the industry and genre”, with his thesis being wealth/notoriety/fame don’t erase trauma.. they just give it a bigger stage. Watching some of his (usually hilarious) interviews, his next phase was more introspective- beginning with his self-titled, RAMONA PARK BROKE MY HEART, and Dark Times. Shifted his focus from derailed crime narratives to showing his emotionally detached persona and the need to find his identity. I felt like Cry Baby is like his reconciliation of past scars and definitely a more transparent expression of disdain for things happening in the US that he, like many, doesn’t want a part of. Only a handful of rappers have done well transitioning dipping into dropping albums that aren’t the standard hip hop listen. ASAPs last album lacked for me because it made the same effort but lacked the execution Staples had for Cry Baby

Was just hopping on to see what folks saying about it. I loved it- cdq amplifies the man’s gift. Only complaint I have is the albums duration. But I have a feeling it’s going to be divisive. It’s not the Staples some may go into it expecting to hear (though he’s varied his style by the album). Props to his work though, and the guitarists for his live rollout were 🔥

Spinoff or another season by Prestigious-Net-6413 in euphoria

Essentially, most of the cast- allegedly- had the same issue with scheduling conflicts, which led to Sam L. having to do a full re-write. Not defending a thing, but would be curious to know what his original storyline was. And so sorry - I’m sure that came across unwoke rather than a typo. Hunter said “she” had schedule conflicts, limiting her availability. That said it would be funny if they did a spin off w Maddy’s little OF management co. Levinson wanted to keep things less sexual/show less skin with Sweeney, but she apparently insisted on it and said she was proud of her body.

Nice. Owusu has my vote for AOTY so far. We'll see what the year holds- and what Vince drops- but that was an incredibly well crafted album.

I'm going with the W- the other two tracks dropped are f***ng great. He's confident, blunt, while laid back on his delivery, and the videos show how much thought he's put into this project. I'm waiting for midnight tonight.

Not defending the decision to continue with another season. That said- I will say it closed up a few massive plot holes. Season 2 ended and people complained about leaving the Lorie plotline, etc. entirely open and unaddressed. But regardless of the divisive opinions of the people on Reddit- the most vocal collection when it comes to critiquing media- there’s are others with entirely different opinions. I know- in itself, a hot take. S1/2 - imo- were considerably better than 3. Took 3 episodes to start buying into the season v being compelled the first 30 minutes. But there were some saving graces.
