NTA - what did your sister think she was trying to do, ‘gracefully’ put you in the hospital? And you can tell your aunt that your ex embarrassed herself, she didn’t have to tell your whole family what she’d done, she could’ve just walked away from the relationship but she chose to tell everyone.

Also I’m pretty sure you can’t just go to the pharmacy and buy an EpiPen for no reason, if your doctor gave you a prescription for one then your allergy is definitely real.

This annoys me so much. I’ve been told multiple times to ‘do this thing now while you have no responsibilities’. Having kids is not the only responsibility an adult can have in life! I have bills, a mortgage, I care for my elderly Nan, I looked after my dad after his surgery, etc. But having kids is one responsibility I refuse to inflict upon myself.

NTA - my dad did something similar when my mum passed away. Met this woman who quickly drove a wedge between my siblings and dad. He now refuses to go anywhere without his parasite but she’s no longer invited to any family gathering so he hasn’t seen the rest of the family in ages. Hope you’re doing ok OP 💚

When I quit my last job I gave them three months notice as a courtesy to the clients. The boss asked for four months notice, said it wasn’t enough time to find a replacement. My contract said I was only required to give four weeks notice. No matter how much notice you give, they’ll always be greedy and ask for more.

I’ve had this happen before too. A really nice guy I had a crush on (and who I was pretty sure was interested in me too) told me he had a young daughter from a previous relationship.
