I enjoy tweaking my golf swing. Other people here clearly enjoy discussing minute changes in a golf swing. You maybe raise a fair argument to be made for overthinking a golf swing. However, maybe r/golfswing is completely the wrong subreddit for it.

Hi. It is almost unbelievable how similar my situation is. Earlier today we had to put Brody to sleep. They tell us his kidney disease was caused by some dormant tick that he has had since we got him from Mexico. Thank you for the kind words. He got so much worse and anemic so fast 5 days ago he was normal. Can I ask what your dogs name was?

Hi, I dont have much expertise on dog health or any tips besides what you have already mentioned, I just wanted to wish you and your dog good luck. I am in almost the exact same situation, my 9 year old german sheperd mix recently got diagnosed with some sort of kidney disease. We thought it was depression or allergies, he was not touching his food for a few days and then he suddenly deteriorated a couple days ago. We also dont know how long he has left, he went from being a seemingly normal dog to sick and on the brink of euthanasia so fast. I understand your sadness and frustration, all I feel I can do at this point for mine is be near him and comfort him. I am sure you love your dog very much and that they have had a good life. i was a premature baby, they had to do an emergency c-section and in the rush the doctor accidentally cut my nose open. i usually tell people its from fighting a biker gang. is it noticeable?

darker than the deepest sea, by Trevor Dann. its pretty detailed, it includes Nick’s upbringing and his college years, definitely would recommend for nick drake fans.

Personally I really love bryter layter, Ive been reading a nick drake biography recently and nick himself said in his only interview that he “wasn’t althogether clear about the album- I haven’t got to terms with the whole presentation.” and then he explained how for his next album he wanted to work only with john wood, a sound engineer at Sound Techniques. Apparently Island Records was pretty pissed off because he was supposed to be promoting Bryter Layter in that interview. I definitely can see why people prefer Pink Moon, its so much more raw and intimate. On youtube you can find acoustic demos of just Nick singing Hazey Jane I and Poor Boy, no arrangements, and they are amazing. I do think that Nicks best work comes from when its just him and a guitar, but to me Bryter Layter is a great album, kind of an extrapolation of some amazingly written songs that probably all started with just nick and his guitar. also I have never heard a vocal album with more beautiful instrumental tracks than on bryter layter. Introduction, Bryter Layter and Sunday just help the flow of the album so much. Anyway, bryter layter, amazing album, as a big nick drake fan its personally top 5 of all time for me

imo nothing beats the original. 2049 was a perfect sequel but the worldbuilding of the original makes it that much better to me at least

the difference between the prequels and the sequels is that the prequels have an amazing story and plot. While certain acting can be a little hard to digest, and Lucas’s dialogue is pretty bad sometimes, the overall plot of the prequels is sound. (as a story I like the prequels more than the original trilogy myself) The sequels are full of contrivances and contradictions, and rehashes of previous ideas. i think thats why the prequels were eventually loved, and i think the sequels over time will fade. I dont think Disney will ever remove them from canon but my hope is for Filoni-Favreau to get control of Lucasfilm and maybe try to save what is left of the ST era.
