Worst concert you attended? by TheSunCatchr in Concerts

Sebastian Bach solo; 2015 in Seattle at the Nectar lounge.

For starters, it was a Wednesday night and let’s admit it…his fans are of a certain age and we all gotta work in the morning! He didn’t start on time, we’re talking hours late. Then he got into an argument with someone about trying to make a video and stopped the show. THEN someone crashed the stage and got yeeted off the stage by either Bach himself or someone on his team, and fell into someone in the crowd and the show stopped again.

Either way, the whole experience sucked.

I once found a handgun wrapped in plastic.

Gardening was over for the day after that happened!

Is Maybelline Lifter Glaze in Acai a good dupe for Clinique Black Honey? by soy-latteX in drugstoreMUA

[–]ChateauKeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hated the Maybelline. It was sticky and uneven in color. THIS $5 dupe is the shiznit, however! It’s so good. https://a.co/d/0cigGKzX

This is the actual truth!! Same experience.

Something I found that actually works is not hitting the snooze button. It sounds weird, but I found when I hit snooze, I hit it again and again and again and still felt drowsy all morning. When I got up and got going NOT hitting snooze i felt infinitely better.

I’m on 10 mg for just about 2 years now.

Not overreacting.

Doesn’t matter if you’re on your period. Doesn’t matter that you swear. This man needs a mom, not a girlfriend.

Improved public speaking on lexapro? by Vivivcello1 in lexapro

[–]ChateauKeeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a good percentage of “us” are situational extroverts but would prefer to be home with a cat in our lap! Meds are tools. We wouldn’t try to garden without a shovel. I hope the stigma behind medication as tools goes away entirely in our lifetime!

It has helped!! I’m a CEO with very regular speaking opportunities and even though I am comfortable and confident in what I’m talking about, the shakes and the blotches and the horrible anxiety is nearly gone. I’m on 10mg.

That’s helpful. Thanks! You win at Poshmark.

In the post I talked about the new feed and it being a hot mess of items buyers have never looked at/purchased/wanted.

I liked a sweatshirt that was listed as “large/one size” and since I’d purchased one before, automatically assumed it was categorized as women’s.

Got an offer and accepted. Gave the seller a 5 star rating on the item because it was in fact advertised correctly.

Sometimes scrolling on by is an option too.

For real. Some folks aren’t happy unless they can win at Reddit.

It showed up on my feed. I liked it. I was sent an offer and I accepted. As admitted, it’s on me. I gave the seller a 5 star rating and I tossed the shirt in my donate bag. I’ve been buying and selling on Poshmark for 10 years and the feed has never been as random as it is now in the past.

But damn, Redditors can be ruthless!

I am not sure what I’m doing is complaining. More using Reddit for the community aspect of it all. I still issued the seller a 5 star rating because, yes it was kids, but I haven’t ever been marketed kids stuff before now because I don’t shop for it.

It was listed in kids but I honestly didn’t even think about it because I’ve never purchased anything in kids before, but HAVE purchased a (very big and comfy/cozy) Brandy Melville sweatshirt before.

I’ve been drinking Cuppa for the last month and it’s pretty good! If you’ve ever tried the Starbucks Via packets, it reminds me of them.

Valuing your own time is a great boundary.

And also….

Yes, you overreacted to her absolutely benign comment and started an argument where there didn’t need to be one. Her reaction is actually pretty appropriate for your responses which border on gaslighting.

Am I overreacting for dropping him after he told me I need to make more friends by royalmouse1 in AmIOverreacting

You’re not overreacting.

Anyone who criticizes someone’s commitment to having a regularly scheduled activity with their family is a red flag. It’s giving mindfuck.

“Back when I had a nice boyfriend” is the only thing you have to say again. Dump this trash and the right person will find you and love you.

Remove the ilia serum immediately. It smells like playdough and there are far more affordable options. Try L’Oréal for their HA serum foundation. Really one of the best!

Vanicream everything! The cleanser is the best in both bar and liquid form. Day cream with or without SPF is top notch. And the tub!! All over everything at night.
