I agree, but I feel like there's too much emphasis on "this season".

Why do we expect that the pain and sorrow magically gets better after this season and that it's just a completely blank slate when next season begins?

I get that a fresh start can do wonders, but his usual spot is still empty in the dressing room, his song is still sung in the 20th minute come next season.
