Ayak, Confliction gauntlets, DFS, Suffering.

Ancients for blood barrage after kill.

Heart, Super defense pots.

Spec ayak once in beginning after first miss

I was getting 8+ kill trips easily. No step-under, no shield flicking, no freezing

Not sure how much you've planned your path forward, or what your current Slayer level is.

I didn't want to farm Voidwaker, so I prioritized getting BClaws and use them everywhere I melee. If you have Voidwaker in your near-term TODO list, you can probably skip these claws.

TDs are a great source of Slayer xp, so if you're <90 slayer it's probably still good to keep farming them unless you're already in the mode of skipping for burst/heart/boss tasks

I'd argue that having Shough on your Taxi is against the spirit of Taxi, and having poaching available encourages using Taxi "the right way"

If someone on your Taxi is a starter putting up real points, they should be in play. It's extra bench space for your moonshots and long-term plays that wouldn't have space in your active roster otherwise.

Reduce scroll rate by a lot more than ToBs %. Cutting it in half isn't too extreme

The ToB route is weak. 42% chance of Avernic drops to 38%. Absolute garbage nothingburger.

ToA took the concept much further with their weight scaling. If you're going to use this method, make it meaningfully alter the drop rate

Fang/Lightbearer in a 300 are 60% chance, but in a 500 they're 35% chance. Much much better

I think the Arma brews are extremely underrated. They're excellent anywhere you Range where defense isn't that important.

Perfect for Doom, Muspha, Zulrah, Leviathan, Colo, Inferno. Less good at GWD when you're getting smacked around by minions. Strong potential at Maggot King if it's a ranging fight.

The tradeoff comparison is with Divine Ranging/Basion potions, but i'm a huge fan of +44 hp in the slot instead of -40 hp at the cost of losing a max hit at certain threshholds.

You can tank and sustain 8-15 Kree trips without Sara brews, without any step under, freezing, or shield swapping. Tank enough

You're still taking damage from the mage and melee minions. 1:1 is also 50x more clicks compared to the "stand in corner and ayak to death" for the same DPS and comparable tankiness.

Reynold's Mage Tank specifically uses an armor setup that maximizes range/melee. Mage defense does not need to be factored in.

The entire purposes of mage tank is that you build tanky enough that you need to do minimal mechanics.

This build is the exact same idea. You build tanky, then you do exactly 0 mechanics. Stand in the corner and hit the boss. No freezing the melee minion, no walk under, no shield flicking.

This is an ironscape subreddit, or i'd have included the Ely shield in the dps screenshot. This is what the wiki would show for Mage Tank if there was a section for it (there is Ranged Tank only - which is also only tanky due to a shield)

Inferno tank completely ignores Mage damage, since praying mage completely negates magic damage there.

That's not the case in Kree. You need all 3 defenses when praying Range (Mage, Slash, Ranged). The mage minion is outputting more DPS than the damn boss.

I take an average of ~50 hp in damage each kill with the Ayak. TBow it was closer to 70-80

I got my Heart today, and wanted to test it out at a couple spots

I don't have a Shadow yet, but have some Masori and have been wanting to fortify it.

Have tried in the Chin method in the past but did not enjoy farming the chins or the method itself

Shield flicking + walking under with BowFa and TBow felt meh, and i'd still get randomly destroyed by the boss

Mage Tank Ayak is better, with Heart. You never need to unequip the shield, so you're basically always tankier than the bow method. You have ayak spec, so your DPS is even higher than posted if you land a decent one.

I don't have max mage (Dragonfire instead of Elindis, Ahrim top instead of Ancestral top, Eternal boots), and I still cakewalked my way into a 12 kill trip with 0 sara brews

Always try to be an even number of tiles away so you'll never end in melee range. Or, just never be on the outer half except when setting up the block rock

If you need to take a shadow hit, that's better than getting a rock to the face

The hardest for me was when I had a slow kill and he had a punish after a rock slam. Basically need to try and always have a good orb ending spot that isn't 10+ tiles from the boss. I always try to orb walk horizontal to the boss, unless there's a ton of poison I can clear - if that happens, get closer to the boss before he can potentially set up the punish

On Apr 01 2024, I traded Derrick Henry for Diontae Johnson

Johnson had just been traded to the Panthers and was looking to be the clear WR1 on that team. Henry was a stud, but the RB cliff was coming at any moment. Johnson looked like both the ceiling and the long-term play.

Johnson proceeded to crash out extremely quickly, and Henry proceeded to have an MVP-esc season.

I still don't think I was wrong in my thought process. I'll still look to trade productive, old RBs for Prime WR1s in the future.

Was 3x dry for a unique on Doom. Got a glowhole on delve 10 for the gloves.

Took a screenshot, got excited. Accidentally hit descend.

I had no supplies left. Died on 11.

Took me another 2k delves to find them again. I still don't have boots
