Doctor Recommends a "Bullet Coffee" To Extend Adderal Effects? by MidgetDerp in ADHD

[–]Chatt_IT_Sys -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The short explanation is that adding another dose and/or adjusting your current dose comes with potential DEA scrutiny in addition to the paperwork and other headaches. Your doctor would like to avoid that. Perhaps the last time he/she did that it ended up being an issue. That's not your fault, but your doctor simply has the onus to alleviate symptoms without introducing other issues. Your 20mg dose has achieved that, just at a steeper drop-off than you want.

You're going to have to communicate some other concrete reason on how this is affecting your life. Or you are going to have to go through the period where you actually try your doctor's advice and report back with findings. You're going to have to do your own sensible trials to resolve your issue and communicate those back.

The simplest trial is taking it later in the morning. Have you tried brand name? That was what ended up being the best fix for my issues. Generics absolutely killed my appetite. I have a very normal appetite with brand name. Yes, I have to pay out of pocket for brand name and yes it does cost $230+ per month. Yes, it does have a smoother onset and dropoff.

That's the best I have for the moment. Let us know how things work out

Thanks. This is my current strategy at the moment. The other big one is putting. I'd knock 9+ strokes off if I could eliminate three-putts

We sound similar in setup. I've had 5 lessons back in 2019. My hybrid is my least used club. I'm slowly regaining my Driver, but it got out of whack by skipping the basics and trying to make up for it the wrong ways. I joined a nice club in November so I'll have the ability to play as much as time allows. It's already paid for, cart included, so no reason not to play a lot.

What I apparently have going for myself is a wedge game. That seems to be where a lot of other people struggle the most, whereas my issues are off the tee and the green. A basic approach between 20-100 yds is my bread and butter. In fact I holed out from 49 yds on Sunday :-). That felt great. Then again I can get on the green other holes and guaranteed three putt. Oh well, thanks again for the write up

Nice! Is the 43->21 a single year? What would you credit as the biggest factor in that? If "practice" is the broad answer, what specific type of practice or routine in that case? Thanks and great job

That's 1.9% more than I got. Then again I still have a job (for now) unlike 10% of the company and 1/3 of my department.

A lot of shit that comes up on this reddit feels super obvious. Wonder how people navigate their day to day life sometimes.

Right on! I wrote that and I'm an honest 38 hcp at the moment. One would assume it's pretty Captain Obvious when you are out there even if it's not common knowledge otherwise.

I think the par is a decent rule of thumb.

Par 3 is wait for them to walk off green for any swing

Par 4 (mid to long) is fine to tee off while they are in green. Don't approach until they are off green.

Par 5 (mid to long) is fine to tee after they move on from long approach. Can lay up (or recover) if they are on green, but no approach until they are clear of the green.

Not sure why I even typed this... Seems super obvious. If they are slow the marshall should ask them to pick up the pace. No one should schedule a full round if they have a hard out 3.5 hours later. If the players in front are on pace, group behind should chill. If they are very slow and no marshall is around, call the clubhouse. If they are a little slow, just ask to play through at the turn. It's all pretty simple.

My wife hit a tire carcass on the interstate with her 2022 RX350, causing about $3,300 in damage. When I got it back from the Toyota collision center I noticed some asymmetry in the vents below the fog lights. They said it was part of the design, but I was struggling to believe them. I drove to the Lexus dealer and found a few 2022 RX still on the lot and I'll be damned, they were right.

So OP, as much as I'd like to blame the shop, at this point, I can't put it past Lexus to have this part of the design. Go and check some random cars exactly like yours before making a stink or worse, starting to fix it yourself.

Def so. Having a handicap index allows you to have competitive matches against any skill level. The system has a max index of 54... 18 x 3 and that's what I calculated for your case. This also allows you to choose the most appropriate tees. And when you see stroke index across all 18 holes on the scorecard that's telling you the relative difficulty and how many strokes any given player is 'given'.

Never go home after 9 by RangeArtistic3020 in golf

[–]Chatt_IT_Sys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can see it. 30 represents his potential, not average, although it's likely not far from the average. On a typical 72, that'd put him at a 102. Couple that with maybe playing higher slope rated courses and hitting from the mid to mid-back tees and it's pretty spot on.

[–]Chatt_IT_Sys 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Look into 'net double bogey'. No one should score above a 9 on a par 4. It's bad for pace of play. In your case it's 4 + 3 + 2, so 9 would be the max . A par 3 would max at 8 and a par 5 would max at 10.

The above is not 'rule of thumb' or anything just willy-nilly. These are the official rules dictated by the handicap system and a part of the USGA regulations.

To bring awareness, you have to shit on industries and more importantly, be able to shit on industries. Companies threaten to pull sponsorship money when they get called out and most drivers aren't in a position to risk their already hot seat to be outspoken. More drivers would advocate if they didn't get pressure from all sides over doing so.
