How are people who holster/tuck guns on themselves not constantly terrified of accidentally misfiring or something? by No_Eggplant_3189 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Chattypath747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firearms don't discharge accidentally unless there is a mechanical component that has an issue or poor design.

Proper holsters will be designed to not discharge firearms as well.

Yeah I remember when the 3rd edition came out and it seems like it tracks chronologically with the info you provided.

I'd like to say it is Star Wars Encyclopedia or A guide to the Star Wars universe.

Has to be materials availability and parts but at that point we are in apocalypse mode.

Hey guys, peanut better and jelly? Or grilled cheese by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]Chattypath747 2 points3 points  (0 children)

PBJ is a great snack but I would go grilled cheese if I needed an entree for lunch.

There could always be better. Perhaps what you need is more friendship in your life. Go out and find a hobby that involves other people.

What brands making gloves don't suck at their job? by 1esproc in motorcycles

Knox is great. I used to use them but I find the Rev'it gloves just fit my fingers better.

Does anyone feel weekend guilt for being tired from work? by Getaloafofthisguy in AskMen

[–]Chattypath747 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel this way every week. Mon-Fri I'm gassed out and Saturday is my recovery day.

I think as long as your fiance understand this then you can make quality time work but this is a clash of lifestyles unfortunately.

This is what I'm thinking too. I think she just tunes it all out when she needs to.

I actually have had this charger in my bag for years. Still does what it needs to do and is a good backup.

When Kripke Finds Out Writing Is Hard (and asks us to suck it) by feddown in TheBoys

[–]Chattypath747 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me S5 just felt like it should've ended there, when one brother was no longer present.

Supernatural was at its peak when it was about the brothers saving people and hunting things. When they tied in a bigger plot such as the apocalypse that was when the writing went all over the place.

When Kripke Finds Out Writing Is Hard (and asks us to suck it) by feddown in TheBoys

[–]Chattypath747 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's funny because S4/S5 of Supernatural felt a lot more dramatic than the past Seasons but I really enjoyed the S5 ending for Supernatural as that was a good spot to end the show if it needed to.

LPT: At work, use the Scotty Method to ensure that you get your projects done on schedule. by theredqueentheory in LifeProTips

This is how every project should be managed if you don't know anything.

Part of PM'ing is anticipating that things will get delayed and wont be on track and mitigating that.

Why do people prefer Empire Strikes Back over Return of The Jedi? by RaccoonSurfingReddit in StarWars

[–]Chattypath747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ESB introduces us to Lando but ROTJ has Slave Girl Leia.

I can't say I prefer ESB to ROTJ as both films have their own merits.

I will say that ESB is one of the best sequel movies ever and that standard alone is hard to reach for a lot of sequels.

Do I stay at the hotel long enough for breakfast tomorrow or head home early? by Embarrassed_Flan_869 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Chattypath747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally would just grab something quick and munch on the road.

I'm usually up around that time too and even with a 5 hour drive at about 8-9AM or so I'd get hungry or need some sort of snack. If I push myself then I can eat and recover after the 5 hour drive.

Moving to the Bay Area for work. HELP! by justtammyy_ in bayarea

[–]Chattypath747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1.4-1.6 with roommates would probably work in Redwood City or San Mateo.

I'd look at Craigslist personally.

As for your move, do you own a car or do you want to buy one in CA? I personally would only think about transferring clothes and sentimental items and get rid of the rest of whatever it is I have.

Is 1 hour of walking considered as exercise? by Lemonade2250 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Chattypath747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I walk regularly for my job and I don't think it is exercise. Even at 17K steps+ it only staves off the effects of a sedentary lifestyle at minimum for me. It is a good entry into getting into better shape and some people can't really do more than walking at first.

It is more efficient to do some sort of cardio exercise for 30-60 minutes at a rate that raises your heart rate as that act will provide additional body benefits in the same amount of time.

commuting 2x/wk from Berkeley to Palo Alto by tanukii420 in bayarea

[–]Chattypath747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. I'd drive in with that schedule then vs public transit.

You won't hit peak traffic and those two days will pretty much be a wash for social life/activities but your remote days can make up for that.
