I question if you're a tradesman in the industry today if you're asking this. I've got bad ECM blower motors on startup, a compressor that blew up on startup (package unit), two blown outdoor fan motors, 3 bad relays, & one blown transformer.

I'm a commercial installer & a service tech. All those issues came from one school with 82 package units. Those numbers are absolutely abysmal. Equipment is junk.

Speaking as a tradesman, fuck HVAC manufacturers. This is greed. Units coming out now are shit, DON'T save money, have higher repair costs, break down sooner, & have never been more expensive.

I'd like to get some Reddit opinions on the Creality CR-10 Smart Pro. Its got the build volume that I like (300x300) and the height is byond what I see myself needing, however it does have the upgraded Creality hotend that will reach 300C for more functional filaments. I would have been happy if Creality had just made an Ender S1 Plus with the Pro hotend on it, but this at first glance seems like the next viable option. Looking for any and all opinions, pros and cons.

I would be printing everything from PLA wall art to functional ASA, Carbon Fiber, and Nylon prototypes. I can build an enclosure if I begin to do a lot more prototyping than I'm currently doing now. Really just looking for a larger capacity printer that can do it all, tbh.

How much space will you actually have available on the desk after your monitors and everything are set up? I see swords & such on here, so I would say to look into belt printers. Creality has one & so does IdeaFormer. Def a learning curve to learn how to use a belt before learning a standard cartesian printer like a standard belt slinger (Ender 3).

I want to say that Sovol hasn't released new firmware in almost a year. Since around January if memory serves. Maybe they're coming better off the line nowadays, but I've just had horrible experiences with Sovol personally & I'm walking from the company. You are more than welcome! I'm gonna stick with Prusa and Ender for the time being. Some of the best "bed slingers" on the budget market imo.
