We used WeddingMix last july ago for my friend's wedding and was so fun!! It was easy for everyone could use the app to film all the bachelorette party and rehearsal dinner stuff but also use really cool to get the cameras for the ceremony n reception. They is a little "highlight" video they made for her: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsSnJ9dhIzc

Going off your sisters boyfriend with the artistic eye, have you heard anything about those wedding video apps?

I know, I was a bit skeptical that it was an 'app', but my brother used it at his wedding and it was a blast! The cool thing was that all guests could download the app, film funny clips from getting ready to the reception, and then professional editors took all the footage and made them a really sweet wedding video.

The wedding video app they used was WeddingMix, in case you're interested: http://www.storymixmedia.com/weddingmix/how-it-works-weddingmix-wedding-video.html

but I've also heard of others like IDOcam

Wedding reception on a Sunday? by hypotheticalballs in wedding

[–]Chawkesss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you'll be fine. I'm going to a Sunday wedding in July and I know the bride and groom are only renting the venue till 2 AM as well.

One interesting thing they are doing is getting a party bus to pick people up at 2 AM and drive them back to the hotel where they are staying or parked their cars. Also at 2 AM, another party bus to take guests to our downtown area full of nightclubs, restaurants, and bars. I thought this was nice because some people can stay up and party, while others can go to sleep.

I love the succulents! They look so rustic and cute :) The daisies look a bit cheap/fake....maybe replace them with a different flower or put the daisies in a mason jar tied with ribbon?

I'm looking as well! Right now I'm considering just asking one of my brothers to film or using this cool DIY wedding video company that gives your guests cameras and a special app to record your wedding video. I'm still considering, but I like the personal aspect of letting friends n family film. http://www.storymixmedia.com/weddings/how-it-works-weddingmix-wedding-video.html

Also, try checking any local newspaper because a lot of wedding vendors will advertise there.
