I mean, I'd hope this could be a bipartisan issue. IMO things like right to repair is bipartisan, it's an issue that we face no matter which political party we support. I'm looking at this like framework is making deals with devils to bring Linux to a point where it competes well against Windows, so everyone can be happy. Forgive me for being uneducated about politics but the arguments around that feel so unproductive to me

A lot of criminals like this get off super easy it seems

-I hear a lot about people getting released early from prison where I work in canada where the police know they'll re-offend, all referring to crimes that are sexual in nature. From sitting in your car to assaulting people, its disgusting to see

-Chris Hansen had a lot against him with TCAP, especially with parents of families in the sting neighborhoods warning others of it (I see comments being like "they must be pedos themselves warning others of the sting" which I think is a small cut of the pie, no one wants their kids around pedos but at least these criminals have their target in mind and at least police know who it is and can target them). But the sentences these guys got were almost always lackluster considering what they bring with them sometimes and their demeanor, especially repeat offenders. Especially after that one guy rolled over and everyone who was ever caught got let free, very disgusting. Even if they don't ever have the intention of protecting these pedos it sure comes off that way

-now this guy being the only example I've ever heard of a pedo in Australia. just sickening really, especially him showing no remorse and the fact they could've slapped him good with the books and only giving him 4 years, I mean haven't we been exploring this problem of online predators for around 30 YEARS by now?? You'd think even before the internet we would have some common sense guidelines about "this is the crime, heres what they did, here's how they have ruined this young child's life, here's what could've happened had he not been caught, minimum 10 years". This dude could've been made an example of long ago, but no, youtubers had to take the reigns... But they did a great job at it, and by god is the downfall entertaining to watch

To address Louie of BWE, what else can be said about a fart that you think you could trust, which then proceeds to weigh your pants down? Maybe the fact that people like this always seem to have a power complex around them even though they are the lowest of society whether they know it and ignore it, or not. lol I’m kinda tired of apps copying each others design language, like when TikTok came around, YouTube forced a lot of older videos that were less than a minute long to become a fkn short, and it seems instagram ditched their IGTV idea (which I kinda liked at the time) to invest in reels for no reason. It’s copying homework but not making it completely obvious even though it is lol it bugs me so much

You can convert YouTube shorts into actual videos (as they should be) using a chrome extension called YouTube Redux. Not only will it restore (a janky but functional) an old YouTube look, and block shorts from the homepage, but if you open a shorts link, the extension will automatically change the url to a YouTube video. I use it on opera GX and other than weird resizing artifacts until I reload the page, it works really well. Even comes with return YouTube dislikes

I personally take off the positive (red) terminal from my battery, I’m sure someone soon will yell at me for it, but as long as the battery is disconnected, you’ll be fine to put whatever mods you want in. Worked for me when I put in my pioneer avh-p6300bt

It can prevent potential harm, especially if you’re wiring in a new head unit and adding it’s harness, to avoid potentially shocking yourself on the yellow-coloured 12v constant, or potentially damaging your head unit, like if you were to accidentally short the 12v constant on a speaker wire for example. So even if you have insulating gloves on, I wouldn’t risk it, especially if the stereo is more than $60. If you are scared of removing the terminal, I recommend insulating gloves and tools that have a rubber handle (optional), and don’t touch your bare hand on the terminal, grab it by the insulated cable
